Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that an advanced technology will take place educators in learning institutes and colleges. Although AI performs educational task in an efficient way, i believe that human guidence plays vital role in an education, since it provides a support from teacher to learn in an effective way.
On the one hand, AI provides an efficient knowledge through digital tools to perform educational tasks. As advanced technology becomes a crutial part of students' life, It helps them to search for their questions and learn on their own pace without distrupting their schedules. Not only digital techmology provide learing material and prepare exams, but also performs routine responsibilities such as access a student, marks the exams, and provide feedback to correct the mistakes.
On the other hand, an advanced technology could not reduce the requirement of in-person education, as it plays very indispensable role in an education. Although an artificial intelligence is more convenient, it also create distrupting situation because of technical issues, which effects the concentration and motivation. An academic institution is a place where students can make human interaction and express their emotions and fears, which helps them to seek a support from teacher, develops their critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
In conclusion, AI is convient to use for educational purposes, as it provides educational material and provide feedback. I believe that teachers plays more vital role in eduction because students can clear their doubts in practical way.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to address the prompt provided. The prompt asks for a discussion on physical education versus academics, but the essay discusses artificial intelligence replacing teachers. This is a significant off-topic error. Additionally, the response is under the 250-word minimum requirement, which negatively impacts the score. While a position is stated, the content does not relate to the task instructions, resulting in a low score for task achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at logical progression using transition words like 'On the one hand' and 'In conclusion'. However, because the content is irrelevant to the prompt, the overall coherence is undermined. Cohesive devices are used, but they are sometimes mechanical or used to link ideas that do not support the actual task question. Paragraphing is present, but the development of ideas is limited by the failure to address the specific topic of physical education.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'guidence' (guidance), 'crutial' (crucial), 'distrupting' (disrupting), and 'convient' (convenient). The student uses some relevant academic vocabulary like 'interpersonal skills' and 'critical thinking', but the overall lexical control is inconsistent. The errors in spelling and word choice are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'an advanced technology will take place educators' (replace educators), 'provides an efficient knowledge' (uncountable noun usage), and 'teachers plays' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the frequency of grammatical slips is high. While the meaning is usually clear, the errors are persistent and prevent the writing from reaching a higher band.
