Student answer (Band 6.0)

Education is the most powerfull thing and it can be aquired in any form. Some people opine that practical education is necessary for children whereas others postulate that it is more important to consentrate on theoretical knowledge. In the fourthcoming paragraphs both the point of views will be carefully delibrated upon before a logical conclusion arrived towerds the end.

On the one hand, there are individuals who are of the opinion that physical classes are an impportant part of childs education. The primary reason for this belif is kids physical health. For example childerns nowadays are more found of smartphones and videogames so they are spending more time in virtual world. which results to weaker physic and gets tired early. Moreover, Another reason for masses to have this stand point is that in the early age children will draw his/her intrest in sport. It would be easy for him/her to learn new skills. And give them idea to plan thier careers in respective sport fields.

On the other hand, There are those who seem to be convinced with the fact that aquiring theoretical knowledge is more necessary. The foremost reason for this inclination is parents are worried about their kids future and making them get decent job. For instance, Majority of the people doing good paying jobs like scientists, physicans are scholars in thier respective field. Further more Eductaion will open doors to explore the world is also an important reason for people to have this midset. They belive that certain level of eductaion is required to start thier career in respective field. like in India you have to qualify certain exams to get admission in medical colleges.

To conclude in line with the views presented above it is evident that both these differing views hold on to their respective positions and sense of relavence. I however, am of the outlook that overall education is required to be a better humanbeing.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, satisfying the requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding physical education focuses primarily on the negative impact of smartphones, which is a valid point but lacks depth regarding the broader educational benefits of sports. Similarly, the academic argument relies on general statements about career success. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments would benefit from more detailed elaboration and specific examples to reach a higher band. The conclusion is brief and lacks a summary of the main points discussed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'For instance', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'which results to weaker physic and gets tired early' and 'Further more Eductaion will open doors'. Additionally, there are some issues with referencing and sentence-level flow, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between ideas is occasionally disjointed. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are frequent spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'powerfull', 'aquired', 'consentrate', 'fourthcoming', 'impportant', 'belif', 'physicans', and 'relavence'. These errors are noticeable and detract from the overall quality of the writing. While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'theoretical knowledge' and 'respective fields', the persistent spelling mistakes and occasional word-choice inaccuracies (e.g., 'weaker physic' instead of 'weaker physique') limit the score in this criterion.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('childerns nowadays are more found of', 'Majority of the people... are scholars'), missing articles, and punctuation errors. For example, the sentence 'For example childerns nowadays are more found of smartphones and videogames so they are spending more time in virtual world. which results to...' contains multiple errors in a single sequence. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band.
