Student answer (Band 5.0)
In my opinion both thing are very important but depend on parts what the want to do with kids physcial classes are very important for child’s if a child will make habit of physcial class that’s a very beneficial because of when he or she grown up they have a very good fitness and stemna otherside education is very mandatory but I thing that’s both thing are very different but this physcial activity and education is very important in my experience nowadays Childrens are very lazy and unfit as i saw because technology products are very easy for child’s to buy & that’s why the can’t do physcial activity in this generation every children have there own smartphones iPads laptops but in our child hood we don’t have any of this stuff and we have a very good fitness and very good routine we have always focused on study then return from school to play sports like cricket football and then go tution obviously then we have a very good sports class in our schooldays so when I see a new generation kids are not taking interest in sports that time a feel se dissapointment believe me they also focus on smarts phones and new technology and one of the worst thing is they are not taking interest in physcial activity or their studies and i see very parents a worried so solution is here parents should take a strict reaction for studies and physical activity so in feature we well saw a good thing

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. The discussion relies heavily on personal anecdotes rather than broader, more analytical arguments regarding the educational value of physical education versus academics. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments lack depth and academic tone. To improve, you should aim to explore the long-term benefits of physical education (e.g., mental health, social skills) and the necessity of academic rigor in a more structured, formal manner.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks paragraphing, which is a significant issue for coherence. The text is presented as a single block, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of ideas. There is a lack of cohesive devices; sentences are often linked by simple conjunctions like 'and' or 'but' rather than sophisticated transition words. The flow is disjointed, and the relationship between the ideas—such as the transition from the importance of fitness to the critique of modern technology—is not clearly signaled. Using clear paragraph breaks and a wider range of linking words would greatly enhance the structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'very important', 'good', and 'stuff'. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'physcial', 'stemna', 'tution', 'feature') and word choice inaccuracies (e.g., 'strict reaction' instead of 'strict measures'). While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the frequent spelling mistakes hinder the overall quality of the writing. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling of common terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('Childrens are', 'every children have'), incorrect verb tenses, and run-on sentences. There is a lack of complex sentence structures; most sentences are simple or compound with basic punctuation. The misuse of articles and pluralization is consistent throughout the text. While the message is understandable, the high frequency of errors makes the writing feel unpolished and impacts the reader's ability to engage with the content. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be a good starting point.
