Student answer (Band 6.0)
Many believe that physical learning is one of the important part in youngster studies. While, other think schools are only for intellectual learning. Theoretical part is very crucial to gain more knowledge and build a stable future but in my opinion, lack physical learning can affect kids health in very bad way.
The sole purpose of early schools was only to give youth only academic education and prepare them to get job's and have better developed life's. Moreover, these method were working very well in late 90's and early 20's as there were less work hours and people get time to go outside. Individuals had great skills as they spent most of their time studying in their whole student life. For example, according to a study, the employment rate in early 2000 specifically in tech departments were 32% higher that it is today just because people spend more time studying than any other activity.
On the other hand, Physical education is also play a very important part in an infant education. Physical activity is one of important factors that is helpful in an child's growth as they get to learn benefit of being fit and keeping their body healthy. Not to mention, in this era career opportunities are also widely available in sports but, this can only be possible by providing education regarding physical health to youngsters and i could not agree more.
To conclude, even though academic education is helpful to secure better future for children's however, neglecting physical education can cause direct harm on student's health in long term.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the 2000s employment rate is not clearly linked to the prompt's focus on physical education versus academics, making the supporting evidence feel slightly tangential. While the position is consistent, the explanation of why physical education is important could be more deeply explored beyond general health benefits. To reach a higher band, ensure that every supporting point directly reinforces the core argument and provides more specific, logical reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude' are used to signal transitions. However, there are instances where the flow is slightly mechanical or awkward, such as the transition 'While, other think'. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, such as the use of 'these method' (plural/singular mismatch). Improving the variety and precision of linking words would help the essay flow more naturally and elevate the score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'physical learning' instead of 'physical education', 'get job's' (incorrect pluralization), and 'infant education' (which usually refers to very young children, not school-aged students). While the meaning is generally clear, the vocabulary is somewhat repetitive and lacks the precision required for higher bands. Expanding your repertoire to include more academic collocations and ensuring accurate word forms would significantly improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Physical education is also play'), incorrect pluralization ('children's', 'life's', 'job's'), and missing articles. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and refining complex sentence construction will be key to improvement.
