Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, physical eduction has become a widely discussed issue. While there are different views on this matter, I believe that it is important to focus on physical eduction classes instead of academics during school time because healthy life come first before grades. This essay will examine the key aspects before reaching a logical conclusion.
To beign with, one of the primary reason for this is that why physical eduction is important part of a child's education. This is because, a healthy life is more essential in our life to stay strong. For example, if a student stay healthy and fit then they actively do all work easily instead of a student who are not physically fit. As a result, physical education is mostly significant for a child.
Another main point worth considering is that a student who focus on their academics during school time got good grades. In other words, a student who spend all of their times in studying rather then doing any activites will eventually loss their stamina. Consequently, in future this will leads to backpain and muchmore. This is demonstrate that we need to focus on physcial education classes instead we skip the classes and fully focused on better study except exercise.
In conclusion, although different viewpoints exist, I firmly believe that a student mainly focus on physical education. Considering, physical exercise leads to better health and stamina and academic results leads to great marks and poor health, it is clear that physical health is more important

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the importance of physical education and the focus on academics, while stating a clear personal opinion that physical education is more vital. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the argument regarding physical health relies heavily on simple generalizations, such as 'healthy life come first before grades,' without exploring the academic side of the debate deeply or providing fully substantiated supporting examples. While all parts of the task are touched upon, the reasoning remains basic, aligning most closely with Band 5 descriptors where ideas are somewhat under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays some organizational structure, utilizing basic introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs. However, overall progression is hindered by awkward phrasing and repetitive transitions like 'To beign with' and 'Another main point worth considering.' Cohesive devices are frequently inaccurate or mechanical, and referencing is occasionally unclear, such as pronoun disagreements ('a student... they'). Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal flow of sentences within paragraphs lacks smooth logical sequencing, which corresponds directly to the characteristics of a Band 5 performance.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively limited and repetitive, with frequent spelling mistakes throughout the text (e.g., 'eduction' instead of 'education', 'beign', 'activites', 'loss' instead of 'lose', 'physcial'). The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic message, but noticeable word-choice errors and awkward collocations—such as 'stay healthy and fit then they actively do all work easily'—cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from achieving a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but many attempts at complex sentences contain frequent grammatical errors. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('healthy life come first', 'a student who are not physically fit'), tense inconsistencies, and awkward phrasing ('this will leads to backpain and muchmore'). Punctuation is also erratic, with the essay ending abruptly without a full stop. These frequent errors cause strain for the reader, placing the grammar securely in the Band 5 category.
