Student answer (Band 5.5)
people have different views with the importance of acedemic and professional skills. Some people believe that physicial education classes are plays a significant role in children health.Other believe thar academic skills more important during school time of gaining knowledge. In my opinion both play an important role in student life.
On the hand, some people believe that school should focus on physical education because it helps children to grow in sports. For example, when someone do regular activity which enhance there mind and helps in release stress. Children stay healthy and active whole day. Therefore, children play regularly helps in identify which sport match according to their body type.
On the other hand, other argue that, If school focus only on studies than it helps students to gain knowledge. For instance, there are lots of subject to studies which required focus and mental awareness to solve issues of mathematics, accountance and economic etc. If students identify there weaker and strongest subject which helps them later in higher education. Because if we have knowledge inrespect of subject we get more opportunity in to enter in college and get well paid job.
In conclusion, although academic skills helps in gaining knwoledge.essential for childrens future career. I believe that physical education is an important part of a childs education. Therefore if school maintain a balance between academic learning and physical activity than children can develop both intellectual and physical knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both perspectives and give a clear overall preference for including physical education, while also concluding that schools should balance it with academic learning. Relevant points include exercise reducing stress and helping children identify suitable sports, and academic study supporting further education and employment. However, these ideas are brief and some links are unclear—for example, the claim that regular activity “enhance there mind” is not explained, and the academic paragraph focuses mainly on future benefits rather than why academics should take priority during school time. The conclusion also gives limited development of your balanced position. The response is 13 words below the required minimum, so it needs a little more relevant explanation or an example to meet the task fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. This coherent arrangement supports the argument, but connections within paragraphs are sometimes mechanical or unclear. For instance, “Therefore, children play regularly helps in identify” does not clearly show how the previous point leads to the next, and “Because if we have knowledge…” is an awkward continuation of the preceding sentence. Some references, such as “there” and “which,” are also unclear. To strengthen progression, make each paragraph develop one main point in a clear sequence and use linking phrases only where the relationship between ideas is explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “physical education,” “regular activity,” “stress,” “higher education,” and “well paid job.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “grow in sports,” “release stress,” “accountance,” and “inrespect of subject.” Spelling errors such as “acedemic,” “physicial,” and “knwoledge” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain the benefits of exercise and academic study without relying on repeated general terms such as “important” and “helps.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If school focus only on studies…” and a concluding clause beginning “although.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “physical education classes are plays” combines incompatible verb forms, while “Children play regularly helps” has an unclear subject and verb pattern. In “other argue,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the conclusion contains a sentence fragment after “although.” Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns first, then connect clauses with correct punctuation. Proofreading for agreement and complete sentences would make your ideas clearer.
