Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is widely argued that physical education classes are an important part of child population whereas others believe that it is more important to focus on academics during school time. This essay will discuss both viewpoints before explaining why I believe physical education classes are more beneficial.

On the other hand supporters of physical education classes argued that if a child go to school daily due to this sense of consistency build in his personality. This is mainly because school study is the age of growing of child and it is the age when lot of manners build in his character.Furthermore,at that time he he knows which things is good for him and which are not.As a result,he become stable and physically healthier.

On the other hand, those who think that it is important to focus on academics during school time. The viewpoint is based on the fact that ifa child out his full focus on academic during school time he performs well in his examination. And he achieve good scores in his school academic session. For instance, in my country good grades are required for addmission in best institutes.Consequently,a person become theoratically fit but c he may not perform well in practicall exams. For these reasons this viewpoint has not gained withspread support.

From my perspective, although the focus on academics during school time is not bad but I think something is fishy in this viewpoint and physical education classes are an important part of child education is more convincing. Therefore,I believe this approach offers greater longterm benefits for individual and society.

In conclusions, both viewpoints present valid arguments. However after considering the advantage of each,I believe that physical educatioooon in classes are an important part of child education because I provides more sustainable and practical outcomes in long run.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the question and state a preference for physical education in the introduction and conclusion. The point about academic achievement leading to access to good institutes is relevant, and the reference to practical outcomes gives your opinion some support. However, the discussion is only partial: the benefits of physical education are described vaguely through “consistency” and becoming “physically healthier,” without explaining clearly how classes produce these outcomes. The academic argument also shifts confusingly to “practicall exams” and then dismisses the view without a clear reason. Develop each side with a specific, explained example and make your position consistent and explicit throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, separate discussion paragraphs, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “For instance,” and “Consequently.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and the repeated “On the other hand” does not clearly distinguish the two sides. Connections between claims are sometimes unclear—for example, the link between academic focus, examination results, and “practicall exams.” The conclusion repeats the position but does not neatly resolve the discussion. Use topic sentences that identify each viewpoint, arrange supporting points in a clear sequence, and use pronouns and transitions only where their references are clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “physical education,” “academic,” “examination,” and “longterm benefits,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “sustainable outcomes.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear: “child population,” “school study is the age of growing,” and “something is fishy in this viewpoint” are not suitable or precise in this context. Spelling and word-form errors, including “addmission,” “theoratically,” and “educatioooon,” also reduce clarity. Aim for accurate, natural phrases for discussing health, learning, and school outcomes, and proofread spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession beginning “although” and a conditional sentence beginning “if.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors frequently make sentences difficult to understand. Examples include “if a child go to school daily,” “he achieve good scores,” and “he become stable,” where subject–verb agreement is missing. Other sentences have incomplete or faulty structures, such as “those who think that it is important to focus on academics during school time.” Punctuation and spacing around sentence boundaries are also inconsistent. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, checking agreement and articles, and separating ideas with accurate punctuation.
