Student answer (Band 6.0)
Individuals argue that fitness training classes are an important part of children's curriculum. Others believe that it is more important to focus on academics during school time. This essay will discuss both sides and I will give my opinion in the conclusion.
Physical fitness play a vital role for children. During the school time, provding physical education classes frequently in a week develope their overall performance in sports and academics. Physical training increase endurance for better concentration and cardiovascular exercises increases blood flow to the brain. As a result, it improves brain functioning which help to understand academic concepts easily. Children who spend few hours weekly behing physical training ultimately perform better than most of the students who spend time only after academics.
Academic performance decide the success of an individual's career. Because technological advancement increases across the world, it has open doors to many branches of education. Therefore, schools provide comprehensive education as part of school curriculum in depth with plenty of lab exercises and assignments. It is obvious for student to spend more time compare to previous generation behind their academic assignments. Despite knowing all the benefits of physical training, students prefered to finish their academic task on time. In the academic structure, as children goes higher in grade, they are exposed to advance concepts which require their own plenty of research and extra time behind it.
In the conclusion, looking at the trend of vaste academic curriculum, students are more focused behing it. While I believe, spending some time daily behind physical education create positive impact on overall performance of children in school time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a position: you explain how exercise may support concentration and brain function, then argue that expanding academic demands lead students to prioritise schoolwork. The examples about blood flow and advanced concepts are relevant, and your conclusion makes clear that you still value physical education. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the academic paragraph mainly describes why students spend more time on assignments, rather than explaining why academic focus should take priority or weighing its benefits against physical education. Some claims, such as students who train performing better than most others, would be stronger with a specific example or qualification. Develop the reasoning on both sides more fully and state your view more directly in the introduction.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. The progression from the benefits of exercise to the demands of academic study is easy to follow, and linking phrases such as “As a result,” “Therefore,” and “In the conclusion” help signal relationships. At times, however, connections feel mechanical or the reference is unclear. For example, “Despite knowing all the benefits of physical training” does not clearly identify who knows them, and the final paragraph begins “While I believe” without completing a balanced contrast. Improve cohesion by linking each paragraph’s main claim to the task more explicitly and using pronouns and contrast markers with clear references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “physical education,” “cardiovascular exercises,” “comprehensive education,” and “academic assignments.” These choices allow you to discuss both fitness and schoolwork, and some less common terms show an effort to be precise. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “fitness training classes,” “behind physical training,” and “vast academic curriculum.” There are also spelling errors, including “provding,” “develope,” “prefered,” and “vaste,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; for example, use “devote time to assignments” rather than “spend time behind” them.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect structures (“As a result, it improves…”) and a concession beginning “Despite knowing…”. The main ideas remain understandable, but some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction recur. Examples include “Physical fitness play” instead of “plays,” “physical training increase” instead of “increases,” and “as children goes higher” instead of “as children go higher.” The opening also promises an opinion “in the conclusion,” leaving your position less clear earlier. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and revise complex sentences to ensure their subjects and clauses are complete. More consistently accurate sentences would strengthen the response.
