Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both perspectives and state a clear overall view in the introduction: “both are important for children.” Relevant reasons include exercise reducing stress and keeping children fit, and academic study providing knowledge. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The sports argument includes examples such as running and football, but the academic side relies mainly on broad claims that children “get information” and learn about history. The relationship between these points and the importance of school time could be explained more fully, with a specific example or consequence. Your conclusion repeats the two sides rather than drawing them together into a more developed final opinion. Explain how schools can balance the subjects and why that balance matters to children’s education.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “To commence with,” “on the other side,” and “As conclusion” helps readers identify the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas are joined without showing their precise relationship. For example, the sports paragraph moves from stress and fitness to international competition and social media, while the academic paragraph shifts quickly from general education to the AI era. Some linking phrases are awkward or repetitive, and the conclusion repeats points already made. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each reason to its explanation with accurate references and transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “physical activity,” “academic skills,” “stress,” and “social media,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, vocabulary is repetitive and often inaccurate in form or collocation, which can strain the reader. Examples include “more crucial as compare to academic,” “take parts in sports activties,” and “do body fit.” Spelling errors such as “phyical,” “childern,” and “knowglde” also reduce clarity and control. Aim to learn common word partnerships for education and exercise, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise choices would help you express the same relevant ideas naturally and avoid relying on repeated words such as “important” and “children.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and use basic clauses to explain reasons, but the range of structures is limited and errors are frequent enough to make parts difficult to follow. For example, “education are play very important role” has problems with subject–verb agreement and verb form, while “If children do more phyically activity then they free from stress” lacks a clear grammatical structure. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “for child education” and “things.They.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clauses such as “because” and “if.” Check agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation in each sentence before submitting.
