Student answer (Band 6.0)
A section of society believe that physical education classes are pivotal part of learners education. Others argue, that it is more beneficial to concentrate on academics whilst in school. This essay will discuss both statements with relevant examples and with a conclusion.
To begin with, Some people consider that it is extremely important to break the monotony of daily routine. Especially, children they spend significant hours on their academic studies. Therefore, physical education is important to break the ice. Moreover, nowadays children are leading a sedentary lifestyle. After school , they are occupied with the electronic gadgets and there is no room for physical activity. Since children are in their growing age it's highly recommended that they get involved in some physical activities. For instance, Basketball, football, badminton, cricket etc. With this regards, School's are the best place to make to make learners aware about the advantages of being fit. In the contemporary world, every school is taking efforts to educate children about physical education. A dedicated staff members and playgrounds are coming in effect to enforce physical education a compulsory subject for school students. This practice indeed has numerous benefits.
On the contrary, Some individuals argue with the above statement and consider that children should pay attention to academics while they are in school. They think physical education is not that important as theoretical education. This is more of a traditional way of thinking where people believe that children's futures relies only on the academic knowledge and not on the physical congnition. They think physical education is a waste of time and negligible outcome is generated. For example, Some parents engage their children to private tuition classes after school because they think their children will outshine other students.
In my opinion, Physical education is extremely essential to promote fitness and education youngsters to participate to ohysical activities along with their academic studies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state your own position: the first body paragraph explains the value of activity, while the second presents the argument for prioritising academic study. Examples such as children using electronic devices and parents arranging private tuition are relevant. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits of physical education are explained in more detail, whereas the academic view is mostly described as a traditional belief and is not supported with a clear explanation of why school time should focus on subjects. Your conclusion supports physical education but does not fully clarify how it should be balanced with academics. Develop both sides more evenly and make your position explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding opinion. Linking expressions such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “On the contrary” help signal the direction of the discussion. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “break the ice” does not accurately express the idea of interrupting a sedentary routine, and “With this regards” does not clearly link the preceding point to the claim about schools. The introduction also promises a conclusion rather than previewing the writer’s position. Use more precise transitions and make the relationship between each supporting point and the main argument clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “sedentary lifestyle,” “physical activity,” “academic studies,” and “private tuition.” These choices make the subject clear, and there are attempts to use more formal expressions such as “pivotal” and “contemporary.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, however: “break the ice” is not suitable for describing a change from routine, “physical cognition” does not convey the intended contrast with academic knowledge, and “coming in effect” is unclear. There are also spelling and word-form slips, including “congnition” and “ohysical.” Aim for natural collocations and check spelling, especially when using less familiar vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “Since” and “because,” and most of the argument remains understandable. Some grammatical errors recur, though. The opening needs an article and possessive form (“a pivotal part of learners’ education”), while “children’s futures relies” has a subject–verb agreement problem. Other examples include “Especially, children they spend…” and “a dedicated staff members,” where sentence structure and agreement are faulty. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, such as capitalising “Some” after a comma and spacing before commas. Review articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, then proofread punctuation to make the complex sentences more controlled.
