Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this contemporary era, some indiciduals believe that children should focuses on the physical eduaction course while they are in schools. However, Others believe that children should focus on academics during school time. I strongly believe that physical health is more important over theoratical knowledge.

On the one hand, when students learn physical education they learn about their health and how they can perform physical tasks more efficently and accurately. Moreover, physical education subject contains some vital chapters like First Aid during games, organize events and manymore which educate students about different games and their specific rules. For instance, whenever big events oragnize, the organizers are those people who have skills of leadership, teamwork and responsibilty which they learn by experience and games oragnize by rule books which are commonly taught in phycial education subject.

On the other hand, academics help students to grow their brain in disciplane and perfect manner with the help of books which contain calculations, algebra, philosphy and biographies. For example, schools taught biographies and experinces of other people who did some special in their life like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezoz which help students to learn how they tackle different problem and their behaviours which help children to become success in their life.

In conclusion, academic education play a important role in children to grew by learning books but, physical education is must to be taught in schools because health is wealth if children know about their health then they can perform different tasks more efficenty.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both sides of the question and state a clear preference for physical education in the introduction and conclusion. The discussion of physical education includes relevant points about health, first aid, teamwork and leadership, while the academic paragraph explains how biographies may offer lessons from others’ lives. However, the two views are not developed equally: the benefits of academics are described mainly in general terms, and the example of famous entrepreneurs is not clearly connected to why academic study should receive more school time. Your opinion that physical health is “more important” is clear, but the response would be stronger if you explained how schools could balance both subjects and supported your preference with a more specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This makes the discussion easy to follow, and the main ideas generally progress within each paragraph. The linking phrases “Moreover” and “For instance” also help show relationships between points. To make the organisation more effective, ensure that each example directly supports the point before it; the discussion of event organisers, for example, moves from physical education to leadership without fully explaining the connection. Some sentences contain several ideas joined together, which makes the progression less smooth. Use clearer sentence boundaries and more precise references to connect each explanation to its main claim.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “physical education,” “First Aid,” “teamwork,” “leadership,” “algebra” and “biographies.” These choices help communicate the subject matter, and you attempt less common expressions such as “theoretical knowledge.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, including “individicals,” “efficently,” “responsibilty” and “phycial.” Some combinations are also unnatural or unclear, such as “grow their brain in disciplane” and “organize events.” This limits precision and can make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Build a reliable range of collocations for education and health, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “when,” “which” and “if.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors occur across verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction. For example, “children should focuses” should use the base verb after “should,” and “academic education play a important role” has agreement and article errors. In “whenever big events organize,” the clause needs a passive form, such as “whenever big events are organized.” Some long sentences also combine several clauses without clear punctuation, particularly the example about event organisers. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and divide complex ideas into controlled sentences.
