Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many individuals are saying that physical classes are playing crucial role in childrens education however other thinks that we should focus more on academics on school time
According, to my views physical education is very useful in children growing time. It teach them how to work in team , making different of stratergy to win games. it makes them physically strong and active. physically activity can also help them to improve there focus and developed there confidence for instance when I was child my PT teacher help me to build my stamina and guide me increase my speed in runnning after graduating from school this helps me to take part in riley race where I got a gold medal for my country.
On the other hand , there is a popular old believe if you put more focus on personal training that can lead children to get distracted or spending very less in the study that make them academically poor for example many children are playing all days just games and not studying or doing homeworks due to this get bad grade class. there basic in math or english become very weak and to overcome this they extra classes to overcome this weakness.
Conclusion, there are very good benefits for little kids in learning physical education in their school circulum that make them happy, statisfied and get the feeling of achivement some in their life .Now a days people has started recognizing the important of physical activity and sports in their children growing period.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both perspectives and make your preference clear: physical education is “very useful” for children, while the opposing view is that it may reduce study time. The personal example about building stamina and winning a race supports the benefits of sport, and the example of children neglecting homework explains the academic concern. However, the academic argument is less fully developed, and your conclusion mainly restates the benefits of physical education rather than weighing the two views or explaining how schools might balance them. Some claims, such as sport improving focus and confidence, would be stronger with a clearer explanation of how these benefits affect children’s education. Developing both sides more evenly would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting physical education, a paragraph presenting the academic concern, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” help signal the change in viewpoint, and examples are generally placed alongside the ideas they support. However, some links between ideas are unclear or mechanical. For instance, the sentence about children receiving bad grades moves quickly to weak foundations and extra classes without clearly explaining each step. The conclusion also introduces a broad observation about people recognising sport’s importance rather than clearly synthesising the discussion. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the point it illustrates.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “physically strong,” “confidence,” “academically poor,” and “gold medal.” These choices make the main subject and examples understandable. However, the range is limited, and several inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Examples include “making different of stratergy,” “old believe,” “school circulum,” and “riley race.” Some expressions also sound unnatural, such as “children growing time” and “focus on personal training.” Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing school subjects, physical activity, and academic outcomes, and check spelling carefully. More accurate collocations would improve clarity and make your ideas sound more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “for instance” that links your school experience to a later achievement. However, control of sentence structure and basic grammar is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “It teach them” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “many children are playing all days just games” has problems with tense, word order, and sentence construction. The clause “to overcome this they extra classes” is missing a finite verb. There are also issues with articles, plurals, and punctuation, including run-on sentences and inconsistent capitalisation. Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, then check agreement, tense, and sentence boundaries.
