Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent era, many educational system focus on students to study different foreign languages while other believes it's not mandatory. Moreover, I will examine advantage of studying foreign language.
Firstly, learning more than one language would be more helpful for students due to their learning age and grasping power . Also, if the child decide to go abroad for their further studies , it would be easier for them. For instance, if a school decides that studying french is compulsory , then child need to learn and understand the language from early age . In incoming age , their parents shifts to different country where french is native language then it would be easier for child to adapt things. Language barrier would not happen at that time.
On the other hand , more people think that learning various language is not required. Furthermore, person would think that child would get more pressure as new language added to study, as they have already more subjects to study.Let's look as an example , if student did not complete their regular curriculum and have trouble in subject like math and school added new language , how is that even possible that child manage both together. It would make mental pressure at very small age.
In conclusion, Person think that educational system would not require other language to study but I believe that learning new language is important as it would gives benefits in future life like in working space or some where else whenever they need .They won't depend on others.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of foreign language study and the writer's opinion on its importance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding 'grasping power' is vague, and the example about French is a bit repetitive. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments lack depth and academic rigor. To improve, you should provide more concrete, well-reasoned explanations for your points rather than relying on simple scenarios. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully synthesize the points made in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help the reader follow the argument. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'In incoming age' or 'Let's look as an example'. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear; for instance, the phrase 'Person think' in the conclusion is grammatically incorrect and disrupts the flow. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help the essay move more smoothly between ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'more people think' and 'it would be easier'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'In recent era' (should be 'In recent times') and 'make mental pressure' (should be 'cause mental pressure'). To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary related to education and linguistics, and ensure that your collocations are natural and accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('many educational system focus', 'child need'), missing articles ('in working space'), and incorrect verb tenses or forms ('if the child decide'). While the meaning is generally understandable, these persistent errors demonstrate a lack of control over complex structures. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with pluralization and article usage, to ensure your writing is more polished.
