Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this global world, foreign language is plays important role to develop new opportunities for future growth for new generations. In my view, It gives a way of success for bright future. On the other hand some of them believe that foreign language study is not important to add in their syllabus but I am in the favour of to add this and if possible should learn more than two different languages.
One of the most compelling reasons for this is that learning a new language opens new opportunities for young generations. In addition, It helps to communicate all over the world and boosts confidence to explore new things and keep their mind active.. For example, children who can speak more than one language, they can think differently. In result, they can update themselves properly.
Furthermore, we live in a technology driven world, so upcoming youth need to learn new language as they can explore and learn new technology, which belongs to other countries. By learning something new, which is not connect with your mother tounge that time how they will manage it. For epitome, if they want to go abroad for higher studies, they need to know about that country culture and people. As a result, studying about new or foreign language have to include their syllabus.
In conclusion, not only does it significant aspects on growth, but also it makes new path for going abroad for a better career opportunity. From my perspective, it should include in the education system for chidren.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of foreign language study and the opinion on its importance in education. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'technology driven world' is a bit vague and could have been better supported with more specific examples. While the points are relevant, they lack the depth required for a higher band score, as the explanation often repeats the premise rather than extending the argument significantly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Furthermore', 'In addition', and 'In conclusion', though some are used mechanically or with minor errors (e.g., 'In result'). The referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences is sometimes interrupted by grammatical inaccuracies, which occasionally makes the progression feel slightly disjointed.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision expected at higher levels. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word-choice errors, such as 'foreign language is plays important role' and 'not connect with your mother tounge'. The use of 'epitome' is incorrect in this context, as it does not mean 'example'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of sophisticated vocabulary and the presence of errors in word formation limit the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('foreign language is plays'), article usage, and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. For example, 'In my view, It gives a way of success for bright future' lacks proper article usage and prepositional flow. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and affect the overall clarity of the writing.
