Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this Modern Era, learning a foreign lanaguge has become crucial part of education in many countries. While some education systems make it necessary, other leave it as an optional subject. In my view, learning a international lanaguge offers several paths and benefits in life and should be an important part of youngster education.
One major benefit is that it improves communication skills and creates various apportunities to intreact with people globally from different culutres. In an growing world, people frequently travel to other country for study and work aborad, so knowing another language can make these experiences much easier. For example, a student who learns french may be able to communicate more confidently while travelling or working in a french speaking country such as Canada.
Additonally, language learning can help students to develop a better understanding of other country culutres, traditions and way of thinking out of box.
Another corns is that studying a international lanaguge can improve certain congnitive skills. Students need to learn new vocabulary and switch between different cultures. While go through new language they can buildup their memory, concentration and problem sloving abilites. Moreover, speaking another foregin language can make young people mor ecomopetitive in job market, as many employers value candidates who can communicate with international customers.
I strongly believe that forgein language stuidy is decisive part of education system. Although some youngster make find it hard or time consuming, but long term benfits outweigh this disadvantages. Schools can make language classes more attractive by using converstaions, game and real life situations rather focusing only on grammar and memorisation.
In conclusion, learning international language can improve a lot of skills while also provide better carrer. oppprtunitites. Therefore,I believe it should included as imprtant component of modern education system.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
You address both parts of the prompt: the benefits of learning languages and whether it belongs in education. Your position is clear from the introduction through to the conclusion, and you support it with relevant points about communication, cultural understanding, cognitive skills and employment. The example of a student learning French for travel or work in Canada helps make one benefit concrete. This fits a response that covers the task and extends its ideas, although some claims remain broad. For instance, the cognitive benefits are listed rather than explained, and the cultural-understanding point would be stronger with a specific illustration. Develop one or two examples further to make the reasoning more convincing and precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs on benefits, a paragraph stating your view, and a conclusion. The progression from practical communication benefits to cognitive and career advantages is easy to follow. Linking expressions such as “One major benefit,” “Additionally,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. This organisation is effective, but cohesion is not always smooth: the second benefit paragraph begins “Another corns,” and the transition from the benefits to the opinion paragraph feels somewhat abrupt. Some ideas are also joined in long sentences without clear punctuation. Use accurate transitions and make the relationship between each claim and its explanation explicit to achieve more flexible, natural progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “communication skills,” “cognitive skills,” “international customers,” and “long-term benefits.” These choices show an effort to discuss education and employment beyond very basic terms. However, spelling errors are frequent and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “lanaguge,” “apportunities,” “culutres,” and “congnitive.” There are also inaccurate or unnatural expressions, such as “creates various paths,” “understanding ... out of box,” and “make young people more competitive in job market.” These issues limit the precision and control of your vocabulary. Proofread carefully, and learn common collocations as complete phrases rather than translating them word by word.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and attempts at more complex structures, including “While some education systems make it necessary...” and “Although some youngster make it hard or time consuming...” This gives the response some structural variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors occur in basic sentence patterns as well as longer clauses. Examples include “has become crucial part” (missing an article), “other leave it” (subject–verb agreement), and “it should included” (missing a verb form). In “Although ... but,” the conjunctions are incorrectly combined. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, particularly around “cultures. While” and “Therefore,I.” Practise accurate articles, agreement, verb forms and punctuation before adding further complexity.
