In some countries, students must learn a foreign language at school. However, other beleive that foreign language study is not a requirement. I firmly believe that it is very important in schools. There are many benefits for this trend which I will explain in the following paragraphs.

Firstly, it helps students to improve their communication skills. To explain it more, they can boost thier confidence by communicating with different people. It is helpful for students to know about different culture and traditions. Due to this, they cannot face difficulty while studing abroad.Secondly, students can get more job opportunities. To illustrate it, If they know foreign languges then they could easily found new jobs beacuse it would be easy for them to communicate with different people. As a result, they can easily secure their future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You answer both parts of the question: you identify benefits such as improved communication, cultural understanding, employment prospects, and confidence, and you clearly state that language study is important. However, the ideas are mostly asserted rather than explained with specific support. For example, the claim that language skills lead to “more job opportunities” is not developed with a concrete example, and the Canada example is brief and does not clearly show how language learning helps students build relationships. The response is also 7 words below the required minimum, so it does not fully meet the task requirement. Develop fewer benefits in greater depth and add a relevant example to support your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the argument. However, progression is limited because several points are repeated: confidence and opportunities appear in more than one paragraph, while the second body paragraph largely restates the benefits already mentioned. Some links are also mechanical, and the relationship between studying abroad and understanding cultures could be made clearer. Organise each body paragraph around a distinct main benefit, then explain and exemplify it before moving on. This would create a clearer overall progression and reduce repetition.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “communication skills,” “traditions,” “job opportunities,” and “independent.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, such as “secure their future,” “adapt new environment,” and “learn new skills like cooperation and confidence.” Spelling errors—including “beleive,” “thier,” “studing,” and “languges”—are noticeable and reduce the accuracy of the writing. Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, you could say that language learning helps students “adapt to a new environment” and “develop cooperation skills,” while using a specific example to demonstrate your vocabulary in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “If they know foreign languges then they could easily found new jobs.” However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries occur often enough to make some sentences awkward. Examples include “they could easily found” instead of a correctly formed verb phrase, “students who living in canada,” and “every students.” There are also missing spaces after full stops, as in “school. However” and “skills. To explain.” These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall message, but they limit control. Practise accurate conditional forms, relative clauses, and plural agreement, and proofread punctuation between sentences.
