Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the modern era, number of schools introduced foreign languages as a necessary subject in their education systems. However, some individuals think that it is not an important subject. In this essay we will discuss why foreign language is important and why we should learn this. I will explain my point of view in forthcoming paragraphs with relevant examples.
To commence with, there are some important factors of learning overseas language and some benefits also. First and foremost, youth have huge craze to study abroad. To explain it, nowadays, numerous youngsters want to complete their higher studies from different countries such as Canada, France, The United Kingdom and many more. Whereas, some students face language problem of this nation where they want to study. For example, today's number of students from India who complete their senior secondary now they want to do their degree's from Germany but they do not understand German language so they facing language problems. Therefore, I think learning foreign language from school is the best option for children's.
Furthermore, nowadays, number of MNC's give preference to people whom can speak more than two languages as native and English. MNC's need Polyglot for crack major deals with another nation's and make healthy relation with other MNC's. For example, numerous companies in Canada hire people who speak well French language because it is second language of Canada. Hence, I think that if people began learning overseas language from childhood then it is easy for them and they can grab best opportunity in their future without facing challenges.
To conclude, learning foreign language is overall beneficial for everyone but if starts learns from school then it is easy for because then we have free mind and have not any stress or major responsibilities. On the other hand, if we starts learn after school or colleges then it makes challenge for us.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both the benefits of learning another language and whether it belongs in education, and your position is clear: you support teaching languages from school age. The study-abroad example and the point about multilingual employees are relevant and help explain your view. However, the benefits are not developed equally: the employment paragraph explains why companies value language skills, while the first paragraph mainly describes students’ plans and language difficulties without showing in detail how school study prepares them. The conclusion also repeats the view that learning early is easier rather than drawing together the main benefits. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation of its impact and a specific example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow. However, some linking is mechanical, and a few connections between ideas are unclear. For instance, “Whereas” introduces the language difficulty but does not form a clear contrast with the preceding sentence, and “Therefore” does not fully explain how the example leads to the recommendation. References such as “this” in the introduction and “this nation” in the first body paragraph are also not always precise. Use transitions that express the exact relationship between ideas, and make references explicit to improve flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “higher studies,” “foreign language,” “MNCs,” “polyglot,” and “opportunity,” and the intended meaning is generally understandable. There are also attempts to use less common expressions, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision. For example, “huge craze” is not an appropriate way to describe students’ interest, “crack major deals” is too informal for this essay, and “healthy relation” would be better expressed with a more natural collocation. “Overseas language” is also less precise than “foreign language.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than inserting ambitious vocabulary where a simpler phrase would communicate the idea more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “if,” and the overall message can usually be followed. However, errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, and articles occur across the response. Examples include “number of schools introduced,” “they do not understand German language so they facing language problems,” and “if we starts learn.” These forms make some sentences difficult to process, particularly in the conclusion. There is also inconsistent control of singular and plural forms, as in “foreign language” when referring to language study generally. Practise building accurate clauses with a clear subject and correctly formed verb, then check articles and agreement. Greater accuracy in these patterns would make your varied sentence attempts more effective.
