Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed both the advantages and disadvantages of relying on convenience food. Your position is clear from the introduction and maintained throughout the essay. The ideas are relevant, such as time-saving benefits and health/financial drawbacks. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation regarding the liver and disease is a bit vague and lacks scientific precision. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting arguments are more thoroughly explained and logically connected to the main topic. Overall, you have fulfilled the requirements of the task well.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' to signal shifts in your argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions feel abrupt. For example, the jump from discussing the liver to diabetes is a bit disjointed. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as the use of 'this' in 'This helps to digest the food'. Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'convenience', 'adverse', and 'expenditure'. However, there are several instances of inaccurate word choice and collocation. For example, you use 'adverse affect' (should be 'effect'), 'in the half of money' (should be 'for half the money'), and 'put the burden on the pocket' (which is not a standard English idiom). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they do limit your score. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise collocations and checking for common word-form errors will help improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, particularly with articles ('the north America', 'the Canada'), subject-verb agreement ('restaurants... has', 'diseases which comes'), and pluralization. Some sentences are also slightly awkward, such as 'By grabbing the processed food and restaurants meals could save their time'. While these errors rarely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage will significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
