Student answer (Band 6.5)
Most of the the increasing number of people depends on the restaurants and other compatible foods than the home-made prepared food for their meals. The main benefit of having outside food is time saving and flexible to eat any time. The main drawback is that they cannot be healthy in long term.
The main advantage is that they can save a lot of time and energy and can get food anytime. People go to work in a week 5 days and cooking during busy schedule have to invest more time and energy instead getting food from outside can save and spend that time in other areas like getting up late. For example, One of friend lives alone by herself so instead of cooking early in morning she sleeps an hour extra and go for work very flexibility and orders food from outside.
The main disadvantage is that consuming outside and stored food can lead to unhealthy. It is because restaurants mostly cooked from processed oil which can cause lot of health problems. Moreover the food which stored and consumed over long period of time can make health weak.
For example, one of my ex-roommate she use to work in Pizza store to save the money and time, she use to eat pizza on daily basis as a result her intestine affected badly and has admitted in hospital.
In Conclusion, Although having food from restaurants and frozen food is flexible and saves time, it has more impact on our healthy which can lead to serious issues.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of relying on convenience food. The position is clear, and the ideas are relevant. However, the development is somewhat limited. While you provide examples, such as the friend who sleeps in and the roommate who ate pizza, these points could be expanded with more depth to fully explore the implications of these lifestyle choices. The conclusion is brief but summarizes the main points effectively. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is supported by more detailed reasoning or broader societal context rather than relying solely on personal anecdotes.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. There is a basic progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive (e.g., 'The main advantage is...', 'The main disadvantage is...'). Some transitions between sentences are abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the link between working five days a week and the specific example of the friend could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words would enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'outside food' and 'stored food' rather than more academic alternatives like 'processed meals' or 'convenience food'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'compatible foods' (which is incorrect in this context) and 'consuming outside... can lead to unhealthy' (which should be 'unhealthy habits' or 'poor health'). While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and occasional misuse of words limit the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'Most of the the increasing number of people depends' (subject-verb agreement and article error), 'cooking during busy schedule have to invest' (missing articles and incorrect verb form), and 'she use to work' (should be 'used to'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with commas. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and article usage will significantly improve your accuracy.
