Due to modern era, every person likes to hangout with their kith and kin. Majority of people depend on restaurant and ready made food instead of home made food in their lives. In the upcoming paragraphs , I will discuss about more disadvantages than advantages with some relevant causes.
Taking into account with disadvantage side, first things first that people will suffer from health problems and they will go through from poverty. For instance, when individual prefers to have outside food , they pay for their food every time when they have them. Also, these days, we all know that food in restaurant are not fresh . Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both advantages and disadvantages, though the development is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding health and financial costs is clear, but the point about 'culture' is less well-supported and slightly tangential. The structure is logical, with a clear introduction and separate paragraphs for disadvantages and advantages. However, the conclusion is very brief and does not effectively summarise the main points or restate the position. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation and a concrete example that directly links back to the prompt's focus on convenience food versus home-cooked meals.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Taking into account with disadvantage side' and 'For illustrate' are non-standard phrases that disrupt the flow. While there is a logical progression from disadvantages to advantages, the transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases more naturally, and ensure that referencing (e.g., 'these', 'this') clearly points to the intended antecedent.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and sophistication. There are several instances of awkward collocations and word choice errors, such as 'poverty line' used incorrectly to mean 'financial hardship', and 'loosing their Immune system' (should be 'losing'). Phrases like 'kith and kin' and 'near and dear ones' are somewhat clichéd or used in contexts where they do not fit perfectly. To improve, focus on using more academic vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct collocations. Avoid informal or overly emotive language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('food in restaurant are'), article usage ('go to doctor'), and incorrect prepositional phrases ('Taking into account with'). There are also errors in word forms, such as 'they also obesity kinds of disease'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed accurately.
