Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the contemporary society, the idea of utilizing the processed and easy to cook food has gained significant popularity among people. While there are several advantages of consuming forzen food products such as convenience, the drawbacks of eating from outside cannot be overlooked. This essay will discuss both prespective in detail with the relavent examples.
Frozen food items and eating from outside offers multiple advantages. Firstly, it saves A significant amount of time and provide convenience to people belongs to working class. Majority of people who work from 9 to 5 neither have time nor the will to do a grocery and cook food at home. They mostly rely on either frozen items or eating outside from local restaurant on the daily basis. Secondly, people like to try fancy dishes and cuisines instead of eating traditional home-cooked food. People who prefer variety in their food prefer eating outside as it offers novelty in the dishes they consume.
Acknowledging that frozen food items offer various benefits, its shortcoming such as health issues and high prices of processed food cannot be ignored. Frozen food or meal from the restaurant can cause diverse health problems. The diseases like diabities, high blood pressure and high cholestrol are the some of the main reasons of unhygenic food served at the restaurants. Furthermore, cooking at home is often cheaper than the expensive meals from local vendors. For example, a meal for single person in London is roughly £10, whereas as whole family can eat in this amount if the food is cooked at home. This way people can take care of the hygiene which reduces the health issues.
In conclusion, although having a meal from outside or utilizing the processed food can be beneficial for working class, the downsides of this widely growing trend such as health hazards and high cost cannot be overlooked. If people were to balance between both sources of their meal, they would be able to manage budget and gain the health benefits simultaneaously.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both advantages and disadvantages and maintain a clear overall position: convenience and variety are balanced against health concerns and cost. The examples about workers with limited time and the price of a meal in London make the discussion relevant. This meets the task well, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the link between restaurant food and diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol would be stronger if you explained how frequent consumption of less nutritious meals contributes to these risks. The point about trying “fancy dishes and cuisines” is also less developed than the convenience argument. To strengthen the response further, explain the causes and consequences of each main point and support claims with precise examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion that summarises the discussion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. However, some connections are mechanical, and a few references are not fully clear. For example, “Acknowledging that frozen food items offer various benefits” refers back to only part of the preceding paragraph, which also discusses restaurant meals and variety. The final sentence introduces balancing the two sources, but this recommendation is not developed in the body. Use transitions that show the precise relationship between ideas, and make sure each paragraph progresses from a clear point to its explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “convenience,” “processed food,” “novelty,” “health problems,” and “hygiene,” so the topic is generally clear. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “cannot be overlooked.” However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “forzen,” “prespective,” “relavent,” “diabities,” and “cholestrol.” Phrases such as “people belongs to working class” and “eating outside from local restaurant” are also unnatural. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than adding formal-sounding wording; proofreading spelling and checking common collocations would make your vocabulary more effective and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including a concession in the introduction (“While there are several advantages…”) and a conditional sentence in the conclusion (“If people were to balance…”). The main meaning is usually understandable, but errors in agreement, articles, and sentence construction recur. For example, “Frozen food items and eating from outside offers” has a compound subject that requires a plural verb, while “it saves … time and provide convenience” shifts agreement within the same sentence. In “a meal for single person,” an article is missing, and “whereas as whole family” has an incorrect article pattern. Work on subject–verb agreement and article use, and check that parallel parts of a sentence follow the same grammatical form. More accurate control of these structures would improve clarity.
