Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, most of the people rely on frozen and packaged food this has become a widely discussed issue. In the upcoming paragraph I shall explain the possibilities and other disadvantages of eating in this several ways.
Firstly, According to my point of view the young generation nowadays are moving towards eating packet food products and frozen industrial meals. Eating this type of food for a longer period of time may causes health problems. If a children is eating this type of food product it is not beneficial for health because it is not made naturally many industries involve chemical's in it to prevent it for a long period of time which causes many health issue's.
On the other hand, If we talk about the home made food which play a vital role in our societies that a children should eat home made food for his better health. Home made food is pure and clean it does not causes any health problem.
For example, eating home food is way better than eating outdoor food because home food is made with clean things while outdoor food is made by same oil and same products.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that people should eat home-cooked food rather than eating restaurants food and frozen food because they are not that much beneficial for our health. Therefore, it play a vital role in our societies. We should avoid outdoor food and we should eat home made food. Although both views have their own advantages, I believe that home made food is better approach.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses the topic and gives a clear preference for home-cooked food, especially in the conclusion. However, the question asks for both advantages and disadvantages of relying on restaurants and convenience food, and the discussion focuses almost entirely on possible health risks. The claimed advantage of convenience is not explained, while the benefits of home cooking are not a substitute for discussing advantages of the eating pattern in the prompt. Ideas such as chemicals in packaged food and repeated use of oil are presented broadly, without qualification or a specific supporting example. To strengthen the response, explain at least one genuine advantage, such as saving time, and develop both sides with clearer reasons and relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Firstly,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression is limited because the second body paragraph shifts to the benefits of home cooking rather than developing the other side of the question. The opening also promises “possibilities and other disadvantages,” which does not clearly preview the discussion, and the conclusion repeats the recommendation several times. Some links are mechanical or unclear, including “Therefore, it play a vital role” after the preceding point. Organise the body around the advantages and disadvantages of convenience food, and use references and transitions that make the relationship between each idea explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the general topic, with relevant expressions such as “frozen and packaged food,” “health problems,” and “home-cooked food.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “home made food,” “food product,” and “health.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, for example “possibilities” for advantages, “eating in this several ways,” and “made naturally.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning less precise, though the main argument remains understandable. Aim for more accurate topic-specific language and vary repeated terms—for instance, use “convenience foods,” “nutritional value,” or “preservatives” where appropriate. Check spelling and apostrophes in forms such as “chemicals” and “issues.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response uses mostly simple sentence patterns, with some attempts to combine ideas using “because” and “while.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the writing awkward to read. Examples include “most of the people rely … this has become,” which joins clauses without suitable punctuation, “may causes,” and “If a children is eating.” Subject–verb agreement is also inconsistent in “home made food … play” and “it play,” while sentence-initial capitals are used inconsistently after commas. Practise accurate clause boundaries, agreement, articles, and singular/plural forms before adding more complex structures. For example, separate the opening into two sentences and write “may cause” and “if a child eats.”
