Student answer (Band 6.0)
In todays competitive world, individuals most of the day is consumed in completing office task and commuting therefore, they seldom gets time to cook at home thus restaurants food and quick cooked meals is the only option for their meals
On the one hand, this emerging trend of ordering cooked food saves a lot of time that a person can dedicate towards his professional skill development and families. Moreover, multiple food chains has started delivering 100% healthy diet food supper that has all the nutrients and vitamins a person need for a day to run smoothly. For example, cult food chain provide options to select diet food plan for a month/week from their menu card and they charge accordingly.Hence, an individual has choice to select between healthy or masala food.
On the other hand, daily consumption of outside meals will deteriorate the immune system, as companies that supply packed food add a lot of preservatives and additives to remain it fresh for longer time period which is definitely not good for health if taken regular. For instances, a survey over 100 peoples has been conducted by food authority of India for over two months where half were provided with home cooked meals whereas other consumed outside meals thus at the end, within few weeks people who eaten restaurant food start falling sick and weak. Furthermore, diner dishes has strong ingredients to make the taste better but this will kill the taste buds of the dinner in the long run. Hence, regular outside dinning will have severe affects on health and taste senses.
To recapitulate, each aspects have merits and demerits considering of there own where this approach saves a quite time from daily routine but has detrimental impact on human health and body organs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both sides of the question and maintain a clear overall view: convenience and time savings are balanced against possible health effects. The examples about meal-delivery plans and packaged-food preservatives help make the discussion relevant. This meets the task well, but some points are more fully explained than others. The time-saving benefit is linked to work and family, while the claim that restaurant food harms the immune system is supported by a survey whose details and reliability are not explained. The point about strong ingredients affecting taste buds is also unclear. To strengthen the response, explain the mechanisms behind each advantage and disadvantage and use examples that are specific and credible.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, one on disadvantages, and a conclusion. The contrast is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To recapitulate” make the organisation clear. This is effective, though some linking is mechanical and a few connections between ideas are not fully clear. For example, the move from preservatives to the survey is understandable, but the survey’s result is expressed in a confusing way, and the final point about taste buds is not clearly connected to the health argument. Use transitions more selectively and make each paragraph develop one central idea in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “professional skill development,” “nutrients and vitamins,” “preservatives,” and “detrimental impact.” These choices show an effort to discuss the issue beyond basic terms. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, word forms, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “healthy diet food supper,” “remain it fresh,” “diner dishes,” and “outside dinning” are examples. Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “masala food” and “taste senses.” Aim for familiar, accurate collocations before using more elaborate wording—for example, “nutritious meals,” “keep it fresh,” and “eating out.” Proofreading spelling and word forms would also improve clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “therefore,” “as,” and “whereas,” and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, errors in sentence structure, agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation occur often enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “individuals most of the day is consumed” has faulty structure and agreement, while “they seldom gets time” and “multiple food chains has started” have subject–verb agreement errors. The opening is also a run-on sentence, and several sentences lack clear punctuation. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a correctly formed subordinate clause, then check agreement and sentence boundaries carefully.
