Student answer (Band 5.0)

Due to hectic schedule, eating perferances are changed by people in every decades therefore food industries take a advantage and they introduce different products to a market like frozen food and boiled chicken which is worst and good in some cases. I will describe the pros and cons of this problem in the upcoming paragraphs.

In this modern era, frozen products and eating out are commonly become most popular especially in the metropolitan cities because who works in larger firms they can no longer pursue their cooking habits in their schedule because of their toxic working enviroment. For instance, in order to save to their time they give perferance to enjoy restaruants meals or precooked food because with the assistance of this thing not only they can utilize their time in outdoor activities but also they can increse their sleeping hours which is very fruitful for getting relief from stress.

On the other hand, if person always depends upon this eating culture then this would be very injurious for their body because packed food contains lots of harmful bacteria. For example,in Delhi, some people got infected by dangerous illness like cancer and heart attack. Therefore, they should need to improve their daily routine in which they can perpare meals for

a day because home made cooking is not only beneficial for health but their relationships also beacause they can utilize time with their families which is good way to relief from stress.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the question by describing convenience as an advantage and possible health and family effects as disadvantages. The example of workers choosing prepared meals to save time gives the first point some support. However, the discussion is limited and several claims are unclear or insufficiently explained: for example, the link between packaged food and “cancer and heart attack” is asserted without support. The conclusion is unfinished (“To conclude, frozen food and eating in hotel”), so your overall view is not clearly summarised. The response also falls five words short of the required minimum. To strengthen the response, explain each advantage and disadvantage more fully, use relevant examples carefully, and complete a conclusion that directly answers the question.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph presenting an advantage, a paragraph presenting disadvantages, and an attempted conclusion. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “On the other hand,” and “Therefore” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is uneven: the final paragraph stops before completing its point, and some sentences contain several ideas without clear connections. The repeated use of “because” and “not only…but also” makes cohesion feel mechanical, while references such as “this thing” are vague. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence. Finish with a complete conclusion and use more precise referencing to make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “frozen products,” “precooked food,” “working environment,” and “daily routine.” There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as saving time and getting relief from stress. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes meaning difficult to interpret: “toxic working environment” does not clearly explain why workers cannot cook, and “eating culture” is imprecise. Spelling errors such as “perferance,” “enviroment,” and “restaruants” are noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural phrases and check spelling carefully; for example, describe meals as “ready-made” and say that people “save time” rather than “save to their time.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure (“if person always depends upon this eating culture”) and a “not only…but also” construction. These attempts show some range, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader pause. Examples include “eating … are commonly become,” “because who works in larger firms,” and “they should need to improve,” where verb forms or clause structures are not controlled. Articles and agreement are also inconsistent, as in “if person” and “their relationships also be.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, particularly where full stops are missing before “For example” and “Therefore.” Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine ideas using correctly formed clauses.
