Student answer (Band 5.0)

Self prepare meal again the massive effect of past-food and restaurant that the community want. Some people prepare the instant food to maximize thier time. The other want to taste their own meal.

For the reason, why some individual want the instant food because they did not have time to prepare it.The positive outcome are after their hard work in the whole day, they want to eat and rest because they already tired. In addtion if the family is big they have no time to think what meal that they need to eat, so thats why they go to the restaurant to relax and dine in. moreover, some netizen also have a lazy body and mind they not want to wash the plate and other things.

However, there is a disadvantage for being lazy to prepare some food to eat. They miss the opportunity to taste thier own meal and how better if they are the one who prepare it.Preparing the own food its is just like job that you need to do, but it is necessary because they have an obligation that need to feed.home ccok meal is if you know how to cook it is a talent that some individual may need to master after a long time, and also you know to prepare it you have a 100% sure that your food is clean.

To summarize, its up to netizen where they want to eat,its iether home cook or the restaurant or convenience food the important is, you know what is the effect to our health.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both advantages and disadvantages, and relevant points include saving time after work, avoiding cooking and washing up, and the assurance of cleanliness when preparing food at home. However, the response only partially develops the task: the advantages are mostly reasons people choose convenience food, rather than clearly explained benefits, and the disadvantages focus mainly on missing the experience of cooking. The opening is difficult to understand, so your overall position is not clear until the conclusion, where you say the choice is personal but health matters. To strengthen the response, explain the effects of each point—for example, how convenience meals can reduce stress but may be less nutritious—and support these ideas with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

Your response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph about reasons for choosing prepared food, a paragraph beginning “However” about disadvantages, and a conclusion. These paragraph divisions help readers identify the main sections. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and the opening sentence does not establish the topic effectively. Linking expressions such as “For the reason,” “In addition,” and “moreover” are used, but some connections feel mechanical or do not clearly show how one idea follows another. References such as “it” and “they” can also be unclear. Organise each body paragraph around one main advantage or disadvantage, then explain it before moving to the next point; use linking phrases only where they clarify the relationship.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “instant food,” “restaurant,” “prepare,” “clean,” and “health,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes your meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “past-food,” “lazy body and mind,” “home ccok meal,” and “100% sure that your food is clean.” Spelling errors such as “thier,” “addtion,” and “iether” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of expressions for this topic, such as “convenience food,” “save time,” “nutritional value,” and “food hygiene,” and check spelling and collocations during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional idea in “if the family is big” and a reason introduced by “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and frequent errors in sentence formation, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the message hard to understand. For example, “The positive outcome are” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “they not want to wash” is missing an auxiliary verb. The sentence beginning “Preparing the own food its is just like job” also contains several grammatical problems. Many sentences run together without appropriate punctuation. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if”; check verb forms and sentence boundaries carefully.
