Student answer (Band 5.5)

Today,s scenarion people give more prefernce to use their own vechicles for go one place to another place. Others says that it people relay own private cars, theswe effect the humans life positively, but it has some negative outcomes which can not be neglected, according to me iits a positive growth.

To begin with the first and formost view, no doubt people give more preference to relay on private vehicles these days its good for them. To be specific, nowadays everyone have a hactic scadule people go one place to another place for their work purpose so they have no enough time to wait for buses , because these are scaduled according to time and sometimes due to certain cencerns the buses are not comes on time so in these situations the own cars are good for people. For example, if people have their own car they do not need to wait for longrer hours they can go one plce to another place whenever they want because of these its good for peple to save their time and they feel more relaxed.

In the same veiw, nowdays everyones want their comfort and relaxation , so private cars are their own way of going they can go whatever they want and they feel more comfortable and relexed.

On the other hand how its a negative impect for people, individuals like to use private cars they do not give preference to use car polling like some people go to same place to live near by but they use their own vehicle not prefer to use car pooling which put the impact on polution , its increasing day by day fuel and pollution create iisue for soil erosion , due to pollution animals face hazards which are very dangerous for both animals and humans.

In conclusion, althogh its good to use private cars for their comfort and time save but peple should try to use car pooling to cover almost same distance , they should also go by walking if they cover short distance which could be good to solve this issue.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the prompt: you explain how private cars affect daily life through convenience, time-saving and comfort, and you give a clear overall view that the effects are positive despite environmental drawbacks. The examples about waiting for buses and travelling when you choose support the benefits, while the discussion of pollution and car-pooling recognises a relevant cost. However, the negative effects are less fully explained: pollution is linked to soil erosion and harm to animals, but the connection to people’s everyday lives could be clearer. Your conclusion offers practical alternatives, though it could weigh the benefits against the harms more explicitly. Developing the environmental argument and explaining why the positive effects outweigh it would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, paragraphs presenting benefits and drawbacks, and a conclusion. The contrast signalled by “On the other hand” helps readers follow the shift to disadvantages, and the final paragraph returns to your overall position. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes repetitive: the first benefit paragraph repeats that people travel from one place to another and save time, while the next paragraph adds comfort without much development. Some linking phrases, such as “To begin with the first and formost view” and “In the same veiw,” sound mechanical or do not clearly show how the ideas relate. Grouping each distinct effect and using clearer links between claim, explanation and example would make the organisation more fluent.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “private vehicles,” “car pooling,” “pollution,” “comfort” and “soil erosion,” so the main ideas can be understood. There are also attempts to express specific effects, such as “save their time” and “feel more relaxed.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, including “give more preference,” “hactic scadule,” “fuel and pollution create iisue,” and “go one place to another place.” Numerous spelling errors, such as “vechicles,” “polution” and “relaxed” written as “relexed,” make the writing less clear and polished. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling; for example, use “rely on private cars,” “busy schedule,” and “reduce travel time.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if people have their own car” and a contrast between benefits and drawbacks. This shows some range, and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, there are some recurring problems with sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation. For example, “everyone have a hactic scadule” needs subject–verb agreement, while “the buses are not comes on time” combines incompatible verb forms. The opening sentence also runs several ideas together, and commas are often used where a full stop or conjunction is needed. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check verb forms and agreement.
