Student answer (Band 5.5)

Since 21st century commenced, a substantial proportion of people deem that disburse a great ideal of money on purchasing of moder cars for the travelling, especially most part of the globe. Although this has myroid of causes such as increase in air pollution to damage in public funds, from my stand point it is entirely an unwelcoming approach.

Among numerous causes, without any doubt, presently most of the individual are in hurry to complete his task while doing some work on the sport or have to travel somewhere, they have no patientse, so they relay on their own vehicals to go somewher instead of waiting for public transport, which leads to the increase the demand of new vehicals and wastage of public transport which is funded by the government for common individuals.

Take India as an epitome, where about 70% of own vehical requirements increase which harmoney public servecies, that effects on close of most of the vehicals services. What is more, suck kind of cars crowded the roads owing to all people have their own cars, that inerupgrading the pollutions in the environmend, which leads damage for the our nature, and these result will be suffer for upcoming generation; therefore these seems to be obvious reasons for this trend.

Inspite of having multifarious factors, some pitfalls are also there, it is time saving for each person. To rainfall further it, if every one have their own way to travel, they did not have to wait for any local services that some timy takes more time to reach on station due to heavy traffic. On top of it, in own transportation help one worker citizen to gain some financial support, with their own service they can start a job for pick up, which decrease the unemployment in one nation. An idea epitome is Uber, people with own car can register with Uber incorporation to start their own services for driving, in mostly all part of the globe.

Taking everything into the consideration, it can be asserted that even though this phenomenon has plethora of plausib causes, I believe that its pitfalls cannot be ignored

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the effects of car reliance and whether these are positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you identify negative impacts like pollution and the decline of public transport, the explanation is often hindered by unclear phrasing, such as 'harmoney public servecies'. The positive aspects are also mentioned, but the argument lacks depth. To improve, ensure that your main points are clearly articulated and supported with more precise examples rather than general statements. The position is clear, but the overall task response is limited by the lack of clarity in expressing complex ideas.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'To rainfall further it' and 'Taking everything into the consideration' are misused or unnatural. Referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to track the logical progression of your arguments. While there is an attempt to use transition words, they do not always connect ideas logically. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help create a smoother flow between your sentences and paragraphs.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and frequently inaccurate. There are numerous spelling errors (e.g., 'myroid', 'vehicals', 'inerupgrading', 'plausib') and word choice issues (e.g., 'disburse a great ideal of money', 'on the sport'). These errors occasionally impede communication, requiring the reader to guess the intended meaning. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'unemployment' and 'public transport', the lack of precision and the high frequency of spelling mistakes prevent a higher score. Focus on learning the correct spelling and collocations of common academic words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is low. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence construction (e.g., 'most of the individual are in hurry', 'these seems to be obvious reasons'). Many sentences are grammatically fragmented or confusing, such as 'that effects on close of most of the vehicals services'. These errors are persistent and often cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and proofreading for common grammatical slips before attempting more complex structures.
