In this modern era, individual rely on the private cars for the transportation. There are several different ways that dependence on private cars can affect our way of living. I will explain some positive and negative affects of private cars.

Firstly, relience on the cars have a positive impact on people's daily lives especially for work professional to commute easily instead of using public transport which takes extra time. Moreover, transportation such as cars are considered as comfortable way to travel. Also, in case of any medical emergencies, own transport can save someone's lives. For an instance, research has showed that private transport assists as a convenient mode of transportation for individual living in remote area where there is no means of commute, however with the transport they can travel to their work which can saves alot of time instead of waiting for the bus at different stops.

However, along with the positive impact it has some negative impacts too. Among them, the most important is the smoke emmison from rapidly increasing private transport is impacting the environment through air as well as noise pollution. Also, it has became a major issue especially for the senior citizen as there are numerous cases of respiratory problems can be seen in the major cities such as downtowns where is traffic is beyond the limit.

In Conclusion, private transport is the best way of transportation in terms of time saving but the negative impacts can not be ignored as it is deteriorating our environment. However, this issue can be resolved by promoting car pooling option by mankind which would not only save enviroment but also save money as well as time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, identifying both the ways reliance on cars affects life and providing a clear stance on the positive and negative effects. The ideas are relevant, such as the convenience for remote workers and the environmental impact of emissions. However, the development is somewhat limited; for instance, the point about senior citizens and respiratory issues is introduced but not fully explored in terms of how it affects daily living. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your examples with more specific detail or logical consequences to ensure the argument is fully supported throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', 'However', and 'In Conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the phrase 'with the transport' in the second paragraph, which lacks a clear antecedent. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the connection between sentences could be smoother to avoid a repetitive structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'respiratory problems', 'air pollution', and 'car pooling'. However, there are several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'individual' instead of 'individuals', 'relience' (reliance), 'emmison' (emissions), and 'has became' (has become). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on mastering common collocations and proofreading for basic spelling accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('individual rely', 'reliance... have') and article usage ('the private cars', 'the smoke emmison'). There are also punctuation and phrasing issues, such as 'where is traffic is beyond the limit'. While you attempt complex sentences, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from being consistently accurate. Focusing on basic grammatical rules, especially pluralization and verb agreement, will significantly improve your score.
