Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many continents of the world, mostly public rely on private cars for transportation. In my opinion, It affects both positive and negative ways. We will dicuss it below.
On the one hand it affects us by leading to congestion, pollution, climate changes. Even only an single person is travelling now they prefer car for the destination. Because public transporation is slow and not even safe for women or girls. At night time travelling in buses or trains is difficult for childre, females. Therefore everone travel in their own vehicle.
On the other hand, Government should spread awarness or work together with big companies or businessman. Because people will influence by their activitiy or any step. When someone is in emrgency. They need to go but there is so much traffic and they get in trap . But they dont find any way. Sometime people even died or something urgent such as Exam for the students. They reached late to the destination. If state intoduce new trains, buses or introdce new metro trains. It will beneficial for public.
In conclusion, Government should take step or even introduce new transport system for people. Because if they get improvement I believe traffic congestion will be reduced. It also helps in decreasing the pollution, environment friendly nature.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the effects of private car reliance and giving an opinion on whether they are positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is limited and disjointed. For instance, you mention congestion and pollution, but explanations are brief and jump quickly between points without sufficient elaboration. Furthermore, the length requirement has not been met, as the response contains only 214 words against the required 250-word minimum. This under-length severely restricts your ability to fully develop your position and ideas, resulting in a penalty to your task achievement score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks clear logical organisation and progression. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal structure of the paragraphs is chaotic, particularly in the third paragraph where ideas about government awareness, emergencies, and public transport are mixed together confusingly. Cohesive devices are either missing or misused, such as the abrupt transition 'On the other hand, Government should spread awarness...' which does not contrast properly with the previous paragraph. Referencing is also weak, with pronouns like 'they' and 'it' occasionally lacking clear antecedents, making the text difficult to follow at times.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with frequent reliance on simple words like 'people', 'cars', and 'transportation'. There are several word choice and collocation inaccuracies throughout the text, such as 'mostly public rely instead of 'most of the public rely', 'an single person', and 'get in trap' instead of 'trapped in traffic'. Less common lexical items are attempted with noticeable errors, which restricts the overall lexical range and causes occasional difficulty for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There is a very limited range of sentence structures, consisting largely of simple and faulty complex sentences. Punctuation and grammar errors are frequent throughout the response, including fragments ('Even only an single person is travelling...'), subject-verb agreement issues ('everone travel', 'people even died or something urgent such as Exam'), and incorrect prepositions ('at night time', 'in conclusion, Government should take step'). While some meaning still comes through, the high frequency of grammatical errors causes noticeable difficulty for the reader.
