Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the fast paced world, everyone try to save time as much as they can. moreover, people spend more time on work compare to other activities. so, they try to save some time from the comute they do for job and the personal transportation is the most reliable in the world.
The use of private car for example; has very divers effect on our live. Fist and for most that, it's making our day to day commute very easy. for example; someone in the family having the emrgency situation and need to see a doctor then they do not need to wait for transit and travel 30 minut for just 5 to kilometer. Apart from this situation, in any weather or any time people can use their personal car and finish their personal task.
Secondly, people who work far form their home, car can save their travel time. one study shows that, people were spenting approx 2 hours more while using public trasnit for work. so, they were spending almost 10 hours of their time for work and that people were living under the stress. On the other hand, the people who were using their personal vhicle for the work they spend only 1 hour for the travel and spent the saved time on other important thing such as upskill their self, spent valuable time with their family and friend and much more.
thus, the use of personal car for the transportation has positive effect on the person's life becuse, car makes comute very easy at anytime and it helps us to save the time that we spend on public transit.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions by describing how cars affect daily life and stating that their effects are positive. The examples of reaching a doctor during an emergency and saving commuting time are relevant, and the comparison with public transport supports your position. However, the discussion is weighted toward convenience and time savings; the effects on life are not explored broadly, and the claim about a study is not explained or clearly grounded. The conclusion repeats your view rather than drawing together the reasons. To develop the response further, explain the consequences of saved time in more detail and consider another effect, such as greater independence or the costs and responsibilities of car ownership, while keeping your overall position clear.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting benefits, and a concluding statement. Sequencers such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “On the other hand” help signal the direction of the discussion, and the examples generally follow the points they illustrate. However, the linking can feel mechanical, and “On the other hand” introduces a comparison that is not really a contrasting viewpoint. Some references are unclear, particularly “that people” after the claim about workers’ stress. Improve progression by making each paragraph’s main point explicit, linking evidence directly to it, and using pronouns and transitions only when their relationships are clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “commute,” “transit,” “emergency situation,” and “stress.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “valuable time” and “personal vehicle.” However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the writing less natural: “comute,” “trasnit,” “reliable” for the intended meaning, and “upskill their self” are examples. Repetition of “time,” “personal,” and “car” also limits flexibility. Build a bank of accurate transport and lifestyle collocations, and check spelling and word forms carefully so that your meaning is consistently easy to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if someone in the family…” and a comparison between car and public-transport journeys. However, control is inconsistent, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries sometimes make the reader work to understand the message. For example, “everyone try” needs subject–verb agreement, while “people were spending” and “they spend” shift tense within the discussion. Several sentences also join clauses awkwardly, such as the opening emergency example. Practise building accurate sentences with one clear main clause, then add subordinate clauses; check agreement and tense consistency before adding complexity.
