Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays in most of the nations, commuting in personal car have become first choice than ever before mostly it is due to better road connectivity. This emerging change not only saves a lot time in travelling but also gave opportunities to work in remote area or town. I believe this new change has added more benefits in individual life than ever.
First of all, personal car commuting saves a lot of individual time which otherwise often consumed while waiting in a long queue for public transportation. Moreover, a person reach to his destination on time. Secondly, tremendous business growth and job opportunities as masses can travel to remote location for work which was restricted due to non-public transport service to that area. For example, this change saves people time and energy which either gets exhausted in long public bus or train train journey or waiting period. Thus, this approach limit the travel time and save energy.
In addition, there is no time restriction as person can stay or leave according to their convenience. For Instance, in multiple surveys it is concluded that a country whose population often use personal cars for travelling is more prosperous and business growth opportunities is tremendous. Hence, private cars gave a person sense of liberty to travel around according to own comfort.
To recapitulate, private car usage for travelling not only bring enormous benefits in individual life but also creates a path for multiple business opportunities that certainly gave advantage to local government in the form of tax.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear positive answer to whether the effects are beneficial, and you identify relevant ways car use changes daily life: saving time, enabling travel to remote workplaces, and offering flexibility. These points address both questions, but the discussion is unevenly developed. The time-saving point is explained through waiting for public transport, while the claims about prosperity, business growth, and tax benefits are asserted rather than supported with a specific example or clear explanation. The reference to surveys is vague, and the conclusion introduces benefits to local government without developing them in the body. To strengthen the response, explain the effects more fully and include a concrete example; also consider a counter-effect before concluding that the overall impact is positive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Its ideas generally progress from time savings to work opportunities and personal flexibility, and signposts such as “First of all,” “In addition,” and “To recapitulate” help readers follow the main points. However, the linking is sometimes mechanical, and some connections between claims are unclear. For example, the sentence beginning “For example, this change saves people time and energy” repeats the preceding point rather than illustrating the claim about remote work. The survey statement also appears without a clear link to the paragraph’s main idea. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make each example directly support the point it follows.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “road connectivity,” “public transportation,” “job opportunities,” “convenience,” and “sense of liberty.” These choices allow you to discuss several effects of car reliance, and some less common expressions are attempted. However, inaccurate word choice and collocation sometimes make the writing sound unnatural, as in “commuting in personal car,” “saves a lot time,” and “business growth opportunities is tremendous.” There is also repetition of “saves,” “time,” and “opportunities,” which limits flexibility. Aim for more natural combinations and precise phrasing, such as “reliance on private cars,” “save considerable travel time,” and “expand access to employment.” Check word forms and spelling carefully, including “train train,” and avoid unsupported generalisations such as “a country whose population often use personal cars … is more prosperous.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “which otherwise often consumed while waiting” and a reason clause introduced by “as.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction occur often enough to make some sentences difficult to read. Examples include “commuting in personal car have become,” “a person reach,” and “business growth opportunities is tremendous.” The clause “which otherwise often consumed” is missing a finite verb, while “private cars gave a person” uses an unsuitable tense for a general claim. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, singular/plural agreement, and consistent present tense. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
