Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this mordern era, transportation is very important. Everyone has to have to schedule of work just to save their time. They used to keep transport at their home today in this upcoming paragraph I'm going to discuss about the positive impact of transport in this modern era. Buy on the private transport people can face high expenses or also increase the pollution which put the bad impact on the environment.

Cause by having the private vehicle cause pollution. if they use private vehicle on the daily basis, it will increase the pollution because they spend the money on their fuel which put a drawback on the environment and decrease good oxygen level for future generation. For example, a man having a high consuming fuel car and he using his car on a daily basis to go on a work just to save his time, but rather on the other side just to save his time he's spending a lot of money on the fuel which caused the pollution and include the air

Secondly, when they buy the private vehicles, they spent a lot of money on them and if they use their private vehicle on a daily basis, they have to spend a lot of expensive on that like they have to spend money on the fuel or insurance or of the service of their vehicle, which can put the drawback on their financial condition

Lastly, in conclusion from my perspective by using the private vehicle is put the negative impact on the environment and as well as on their financial term. Just to improve that people have to use the public transport which can save their money to and environment to.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify two relevant effects of private-car reliance—pollution and personal expense—and your conclusion recommends public transport, so the response addresses the topic and gives a broadly negative view. However, the position is not consistently clear: the introduction announces a discussion of the “positive impact,” while the body and conclusion argue that the effects are negative. The task asks how reliance affects the way people live as well as whether the effects are positive or negative; your answer focuses mainly on environmental and financial costs, with little explanation of wider effects on daily life. The fuel-use example is relevant but repetitive and not fully explained. State your position consistently, then develop each effect with a clear explanation and a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs for two effects, and a concluding paragraph, which gives it some basic organisation. The ideas are generally grouped by topic, and “Secondly” signals the move to the financial point. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first paragraph shifts from the importance of transport to a claim about positive effects and then to disadvantages. Linking phrases such as “Cause by” and “For example” do not always connect ideas clearly, and the example repeats the point about saving time and fuel without reaching a clear conclusion. Improve the sequence by presenting one main idea per paragraph, explaining it, and then adding a concise example. Use clear references and transitions rather than repeating the same point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “private vehicle,” “pollution,” “environment,” “fuel,” and “insurance,” so the reader can identify the main subject and effects. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the meaning harder to follow. For example, “keep transport at their home,” “high consuming fuel car,” and “put the drawback on their financial condition” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also spelling and word-form errors, such as “mordern” and “expensive” where a noun is needed. Build a more precise set of collocations for transport and its impacts, and check spelling and word forms. Avoid repeating “private vehicle” when a clear alternative such as “car” will do.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences using clauses such as “because they spend the money on their fuel,” and you use basic sequencing to organise points. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. Examples include “Everyone has to have to schedule of work,” “if they use private vehicle,” and “he using his car,” which show problems with verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. Some sentences run together, particularly the opening and the long fuel example, while punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent. These errors can make the reader work to understand the intended relationships. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
