Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often argued that people should not use mobile phone when driving and this rule must be illegal while others assert that it should not be illegal.I completely agree with first notion that using cell phone is extremely dangerous. In this essay i will discuss about my view points with examples and prove this statement.
One significant reason why i support this view point is that youth generation is totally depend on internet. This is because youngster are using electronic device for listening music, podcasts and for google map which is distracting while driving and cause accidents. A clear example is survey which recently conducted in Canada that 80% of people are using electronic device during driving. Therefore, so many incidents happened such as accidents, crash.
Another reason for my opinion is that hectic schedule. To explain it, people are stuck with their daily routine and because of work and personal lifestyle they are prefer to solve everything on call. This can be seen on social media where people were not only using the cell phones but also driving more than given speed limit. For these reason government should implement this rule that while driving people cannot use their mobile phones. As a result, the number of accidents can reduce and people will more crefull
To conclude it, although people are engage in their life and their lifestyle yet, they should follow the rules for everyone's safety.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed the prompt by clearly stating your agreement with the proposal to ban mobile phone use while driving. However, the response is under the 250-word minimum, which limits your ability to fully develop your arguments. While you provide reasons such as distraction and busy lifestyles, the supporting examples—such as the reference to a survey in Canada—are somewhat vague and lack sufficient detail to fully support your position. To improve, ensure you expand on your points with more specific explanations and reach the required word count to ensure all parts of the task are fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'One significant reason' and 'To conclude it' to signal transitions. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by mechanical phrasing and some awkward transitions between sentences. For instance, the jump from discussing youth to the Canadian survey could be smoother. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the relationship between your ideas is clearly signposted throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your main points effectively. You use some topic-specific terms like 'distracted', 'accidents', and 'implement'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'crefull' (careful) and 'youth generation is totally depend' (dependent). The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on basic descriptors. To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and ensure correct word forms are used consistently throughout your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an ability to use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('youngster are using'), article usage, and tense consistency ('people were not only using'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with missing spaces after periods. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the overall clarity of your writing. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and sentence structure will help improve your score.
