Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the recent time use of moblile phone has been increased during driving due to this there accidents happens. some people believe that use of phones should be ban by government. I particly agree with this statment i will give reasons in the upcoming paragraphs.
The first and foremost reason is that soical media become so popular nowdays all around the world especailly, in younger genretaion due to they are more likely to glued to their phones. it will cause mishappeings in their life. Futhermore, some compaines provide work from home facilites and people want to use this while duing their peronal work for instance, they think that they can finish their shopping and some other works while attending meetings and phone calls in the meantime ultimately cell phones become major source of disttraction.
on the other hand, with the advancement of techology phone make some jobs really easy, for example in recent time people can use their there phone to check the direction so that they can save their as online maps not only provide the direction but also information about the traffice weather and the fastest route. Moreover, use of phones during emergency proves boon To expalin this, if someone is stuck somewhere due any short of problem they can call help so that they can save someones life.
To conculde, I believe that limited use of cell phones is good while driving. However, goverment should try to apply some rule like people can use phone only to amke a emergency call or the check maps or direction other it will cause serious incident as a driver require more focous in driving rather doing other things.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, although the stance is slightly contradictory in the conclusion where you suggest 'limited use' is acceptable after initially agreeing with a ban. The ideas are relevant, such as the dangers of social media and the benefits of GPS, but the development is somewhat superficial. For example, the point about 'work from home facilities' is not clearly linked to the dangers of driving. To improve, ensure your position remains consistent throughout and provide more detailed explanations for your supporting points to fully develop your argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'due to they are more likely' or 'To expalin this'. There are also issues with referencing and flow, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition between social media and work-from-home facilities feels abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'nevertheless') would help create a smoother progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and sophistication. There are frequent spelling errors such as 'moblile', 'particly', 'soical', 'nowdays', 'especailly', 'genretaion', and 'conculde'. These errors are noticeable but do not fully impede communication. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations, such as 'mishappeings in their life' or 'short of problem'. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and incorporating more precise, topic-specific vocabulary related to road safety and technology.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. Issues include missing articles (e.g., 'use of moblile phone'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'accidents happens'), and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'phone make some jobs really easy'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage.
