In this modern era, technology is increasing day by day. All kind of people are using technology, because all things are depend on this. It is like part of their life. Using smart phones while driving is harmful since it cause the driver to become distracted. I partially agree with this statement. I will describe in the upcoming paragarph.
To begin with, Firstly, if individuals are misusing phone while driving like they just call to their friends and family while they are getting bore. This things are dangrerous because they easily get distracted. Secondly some time people watch their favourite movies and series on mobile due to this they didnot focus on driving. For example, the BBC news ( british broadway council) every year release report regarding how many people lost their lifes for using phones while driving.
On the other hand, smart phones are part of the life because nowadays, some works are depend on it like uber, and courrier services etcera. uber drives are excepting the ride and food orders while driving. As well as, courier delivery persons are looking adress for drop the parcel on exact location. Futhermore, Sometimes people have a emergency calls while driving those are important for them. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by providing a position, though it is somewhat underdeveloped. You acknowledge the dangers of cell phone use while arguing for its necessity in certain professions. However, the arguments lack depth and specific evidence. For instance, the reference to 'BBC news (british broadway council)' is factually incorrect and confusing, which weakens the support for your position. To improve, ensure your ideas are fully extended with clear, logical reasoning rather than just listing examples. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the points made in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'To begin with, Firstly' or 'As well as' used at the start of a sentence. Referencing is sometimes unclear, making the flow between sentences feel disjointed. While there is a logical progression from the dangers of phone use to the practical necessity for some workers, the transitions between these ideas are abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help the essay flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'all things are depend on this' instead of 'everything depends on this' and 'getting bore' instead of 'getting bored'. You also use 'excepting' when you likely meant 'accepting'. While the meaning is generally clear, the limited range and frequent errors in collocation and word form prevent a higher score. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic collocations would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are frequently marred by grammatical errors, such as 'if individuals are misusing phone... they just call to their friends' and 'some works are depend on it'. Subject-verb agreement errors are common, and there are frequent issues with articles and pluralization (e.g., 'lost their lifes', 'looking adress'). Punctuation is also inconsistent. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures.
