Student answer (Band 5.5)
Mobile phone has become an indispensable part of many people's lives. It is extremely dangerous to use phone, while driving due to get distracted from driving. I agree with the given statemment. I would outline my stand with explaination in forthcoming paragraphs with large extends.
Nowdays people can easily to consume contant from their a mobile phone like reels, which are so addictives for people.Once they start watching, it tough for them to leave it. If they start scrolling during driving, it will distract them from road. It causes accident. The times of india article says that Number of accidents have increased during last 5 years on the road due to use of phone during driving. Furthermore, most people like to follow government laws, becasue they do not want to pay penalty. If authority make illegal to use phone during driving, people will avoid to use cell phone during driviing their a vehical.
In addition, traffic light is extremely important, when you drive your a vehical. Nowdays, number of cities in the world face traffic problem, because citizens are additicive towrds social media, and they are not restrict themselves during driving. They buy a special screen to watch social media while driving, which they can install easily on their car dashboard.
On the contaray, some poeple are at highest position in company. They always talk with their employees through a audio call. It is not distraction for anyboday to talk with their employees or family during driving.
In conculsion, if authority make it illigal to use of cell phone during driving, it will make extremmely positive envirnment for drivers. It decrease accdents as well as people start following traffic rules.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is stated clearly in the introduction (“I agree”) and reinforced in the conclusion, and you give relevant reasons, including distraction from social media and the deterrent effect of penalties. However, the response only partly develops the task: the claim about accident trends is attributed to a newspaper but is not explained or supported with a specific example. The paragraph about people in senior company positions introduces a counterargument, but the claim that calls are “not a distraction” is asserted rather than justified and sits uneasily with your overall position. Explain why a ban is necessary, address possible exceptions such as hands-free calls, and develop each reason with clearer evidence or examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, and basic signposts such as “Furthermore,” “In addition” and “In conclusion” help show the intended structure. However, progression between ideas is uneven. The paragraph beginning “In addition” shifts from social-media distraction to traffic lights and dashboard screens without clearly explaining how these points connect. The counterargument about company employees also appears abruptly, and its relationship to your agreement is not made clear. Some linking phrases are used mechanically, while references such as “it” and “they” can be unclear. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then use a clear explanation or example to connect its sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “distracted,” “penalty,” “traffic rules” and “social media,” so the reader can generally identify your subject and main points. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices, collocations and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “consume contant,” “addictives,” “at highest position” and “positive envirnment.” Repetition of “use phone” and “driving” also limits precision. Aim to learn common phrases as complete units, such as “use a mobile phone while driving” and “cause a road accident,” and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you express the argument without relying on repeated general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If authority make it illegal…” and a relative clause in “which they can install…”. However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to follow. For example, “people can easily to consume” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “If authority make” lacks appropriate agreement and article use. Phrases such as “It decrease accidents” also show problems with subject–verb agreement. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly where clauses run together. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences using conjunctions. Check verb forms, articles and agreement in each sentence before adding more complex structures.
