Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some believed that administration should manage the finances of universities so that any person can have access of education without fees. I am partly agree with this statement. I will be discussing reasons in upcoming paragraphs.
The first and foremost point is increasing literature rate. To explicate, if government pay for educational institutions that can assist people who have low income and unable to get education. Due to this, individuals can take courses according to their preferences by which they can fulfill their dreams and get better job or work opportunities in future. A good example of country “India” where students get free admission in universities for their higher education by passing test.
In contrast, if student pay their fees by their own this can benefit to government because they can invest money to other purposes like health departments and can construct more parks with trees which can help seniors to walk and they can manage their health because at this age they need fresh air to live long.As a result, it can balance the economy of the country.
In conclusion, I believe that education should be free by the government because it can give chance to those people who do not enough money to educate. However, it can imbalances the financial system that can disturb the economy of particular field of the country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument, but the response is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of development. While the position is clear, the arguments are somewhat superficial. For instance, the example of India is mentioned but not fully explained in the context of the prompt's specific requirement for free university education for all. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, you must expand on your ideas with more detailed explanations and specific, well-integrated examples to meet the length requirement and provide a more thorough exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally repetitive. For example, the transition 'In contrast' is used, but the connection between the ideas within the paragraphs could be smoother. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the final paragraph where 'it' is used to refer back to the concept of free education, but the sentence structure is slightly disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus will help improve the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'increasing literature rate' (likely meaning 'literacy rate') and 'if student pay their fees by their own'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do highlight a limited range of vocabulary. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to economics and education, while also ensuring that you use words in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of the writing. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'if government pay'), article usage, and word form errors (e.g., 'I am partly agree'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, they are frequent enough to impact the overall quality. You should focus on proofreading your work to correct basic errors in tense and agreement and practice constructing more complex sentences with greater accuracy.
