Student answer (Band 6.0)
Studying in the universities can be dream of anyone, while considering the expense of it. However, a few individual advocates that the council should be responsible to pay the costs of running the universities, meanwhile, the education provided by them automatically became available to any people without any charge. Therefore, I certainly agree with the statement, by delivering some factual drawbacks towards expressing it.
It will considerably be helpful to give equal access to education. Moreover, the families which is definitely suffering from poor lifestyle could get opportunity to study. Conversely, not only reliable to richer community. For instance, according to recent articles related to education configured the data by colossal amount, were people of poor family backgrounds lacked behind due to not having enough money in the bank. As a result, this kind innovation brings an instant solution for them to learn from that institutes adequately. Another thing is beneficial to the society. To elaborate, they can find numerous doctors, nurses, and businessman amongst all, which create positive impression to the nations.
On the other hand, there are some disbeliefs to account in the comparison. Undoubtedly, by spending enormous amount of cash on certain part describe inequality to the other platforms such as infrastructures, transportation, and hospitals. For example, if regime spent greater to follow the universities, then
the healthcare which needs to be perfect as per the population ratio can get affected to treat patients effortlessly. So, equally distributed helps government to construct the problem carefully.
In conclusion, I personally believe that the council should provide a majority of debt to the universities, which mainly useful to the needy ones. But do not delete other areas like public transport.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The main ideas—equal access to education and the potential strain on other public services—are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the 'colossal amount' of data is vague and lacks a concrete, well-explained example. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and could have better synthesised the arguments presented. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and specific, real-world examples to support your claims.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'Moreover', 'Conversely', and 'On the other hand', to signal transitions. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'Another thing is beneficial to the society'. Additionally, some sentences lack smooth flow, making the progression of ideas feel a bit disjointed at times. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the essay read more fluently.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. For example, 'disbeliefs to account' is not standard English, and 'construct the problem' is an awkward collocation. You attempt to use some less common vocabulary, such as 'colossal' and 'regime', but these are not always used in the most appropriate context. To improve, focus on learning phrases and collocations rather than isolated words, and ensure your word choices accurately reflect your intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'families which is definitely suffering') and incorrect word forms (e.g., 'lacked behind' instead of 'lagged behind'). Punctuation is generally functional, but some sentence constructions are awkward, such as 'by delivering some factual drawbacks towards expressing it'. You need to focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and refining your control over complex sentence structures.
