Student answer (Band 5.5)
education is a backbone of every succesfull person so according to some personalities universities will be funded by higher authorties so young ones get education as they want. in my opinion , am agree with this notionthey can give them free education but on their ability. i mention my point of view in upcoming paragraphs.
initially, it will proven a golden chance for low income families, because those students who wants to do study but they can not afford expencess , they can get good chance of education as a result , country have more good and inteligent workers as well as they can help their family in improve their condition. Moreover, country have skilled workforce because if they study in government funded universities then they can work in their own country instead of going outside, resultly they can boost nations economy.
furthure more, more student get education in universities because due to expensive studies youngsters refuse to go university level so they will free and getting involve in crime as a result crime rates will decrease and more people get education. In addition, government have more financial burdden becuase they have to pay alot of in education sectors hence taxes will increase automatically which will give hard time to workaholic parents in this era.
In conclusion, my opinion is government should pay university expenses for students who deserving so that it will be benificial for government and boost country economy, and every young one have great future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a relevant response and state a position: government support is appropriate for students who deserve or need it. Your reasons include widening access for low-income families, developing a skilled workforce, and reducing crime. However, the position is not fully clear at the start: “I am agree with this notion” is followed by the qualification “but on their ability,” which needs explanation. The points about crime and increased taxes are introduced but not developed or balanced with examples, so the argument remains limited. The conclusion repeats your view rather than drawing the reasons together. The response is also two words below the required minimum; add meaningful development, such as explaining how eligibility could be assessed, rather than padding the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing expressions such as “initially,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several claims are joined together without clear explanation. For example, the link between expensive university study, young people becoming involved in crime, and crime rates decreasing needs to be made more explicit. Some connectors are repetitive or awkward, including “as a result” and “furthure more,” and the final body paragraph combines benefits with the counterpoint about taxes. Organise each paragraph around one main idea and use clearer referencing and transitions to show how each point supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and public policy, including “low income families,” “skilled workforce,” “financial burden,” and “boost nations economy.” These phrases show an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the writing less clear, such as “succesfull,” “expencess,” “inteligent,” and “resultly.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “workaholic parents” and “on their ability,” which do not convey your intended meaning precisely. Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise wording for eligibility, public funding, and economic effects would help you express your ideas with less repetition and greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences using clauses and linking words, for example, “because those students who wants to do study but they can not afford expencess…” This shows an effort to express cause and effect, but complex sentences are often faulty and can make relationships between ideas hard to understand. There are frequent problems with agreement and verb forms, as in “students who wants,” “country have,” and “it will proven.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly in the opening, where several ideas run together. Articles and plural forms are often missing or inaccurate. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses; careful proofreading for subject–verb agreement and complete sentence structure will improve control.
