Student answer (Band 5.5)
A section of populace said that the rule makers should use public funds in elevating the education sector, by which scholars can complete their studies without any cost. As far as I am concerned, I believe it will helps to make an educated society, which includes open minded people who can lead the nation delebrately.
Firstly, education free to all promotes the equality among inhabitants, by removing all the differences of the rich and poor. In other words, people belong to below poverty line are not able to provide the basic education to their children, while rich individuals enrolled their children in affilated schools. As a result, it instills negative traits in them. However, if the rulling party make it free to all giving a sense of freedom to educate in any school they want and they can fullfil their dream.
Secondly, it will structured a healthy and ecofriendly society to live, because everyone is educated. Folowing this, a nation with strong academic knowledge people have power to rule over the world and grab a postion at top. As a result, youngesters come with new comprehensive ideas to resolve any issue. Moreover, it would decline the number of unemplyed person. This would be because of the schools faculty focus on self empowering society. Thus, they emphasize on delivering a structured lesson plans to become a future business tycoon.
Some may argue that this will possibly have a bad impact on the nation's annual budget, while I would say educating people is the primary duty of the government.
In conclusion, making education free for everyone act as an opportunity for the poor families children to do something for the betterment of lives. Education has a power to change the world perception.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you support government-funded university education because it can widen access and benefit society. The discussion of poorer families being unable to afford education is relevant, and you also acknowledge the opposing concern about pressure on the national budget. These points address the task, but some are not fully developed. For example, the claim that free education will create an “ecofriendly society” is not explained, and the link between university funding and reducing unemployment or producing “business tycoons” remains general. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how public funding would cover university costs and why the benefits justify that expense, while developing one or two examples in greater depth.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a brief counterargument, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. However, some connections between claims are unclear or mechanical. For instance, “As a result, it instills negative traits in them” does not clearly identify what “it” refers to or explain the result. The counterargument is introduced but not developed before the conclusion. Improve cohesion by making references explicit, showing the cause-and-effect links between sentences, and using transitions that express the actual relationship between ideas rather than relying mainly on formulaic signposting.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “public funds,” “equality,” “annual budget,” and “self empowering society.” This shows an effort to discuss education and its social effects, but inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “a section of populace,” “rule makers,” and “grab a postion at top” are not natural in this context; several words are also misspelled, including “delebrately” and “unemplyed.” Aim for precise, conventional expressions and check spelling carefully. Using fewer ambitious phrases accurately would make your argument clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “while” and “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes obscure meaning. For example, “I believe it will helps” should use the base verb after “will,” while “it will structured” needs a correct verb form. In “education free to all promotes,” the opening phrase needs a clearer grammatical structure, and “making education free for everyone act” has a subject–verb agreement error. Practise building accurate sentences with modal verbs and subordinate clauses, then check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
