Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is widely acknowledged that in this modern society government should subsidized to the universities for fee, therefore everyone can get benefit from the educational system who wants to continue the study. While this factor has attracted considerable attention, there are differing views regarding its impact. This essay will examine the key aspects of this topic and present my perspective.

On major aspect of this activity is that students who cannot afford the highter education due to the inflation, so they can get the benefit and literacy rate will be low in the society. As a consequen, individuals or societies may experiance from this kind poliecy which brings the positive effect. This situation leads to long-term effects, especially when this activity is going to positive way. For instance, in many countries such as Newzeland there 98% of the population are heighly educated because they getting benefit from the government poliecies for the education which has impact in noticeable changes in people's lifestyles and priorities.

Another important consideration is that If everyone will be highly educated so who will do the nomal jobs like delivery, cleaning ect. From a broader perspective, this situation plays a crucial role in shaping future outcomes. While some people argue that this development is beneficial, other believe it creates additional challanges. Nevertheless, it is clear that when everyone will be highly educated so they will expected high which has a signaficant impact on economics, social or personal well-being.

In conclusion, although this act has both positive and negative implications. It is largely depends how it is going to managed. After considering the main points discuss above, I believe that we should maintain the balance between the education systern and create the marit system for the education which is the beneficial and realistic approach for the long run.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the question by presenting benefits of government-funded university education and a concern about who would do essential jobs. Your conclusion also signals a qualified position, favouring a balance rather than free access without limits. However, the extent of your agreement is not clear until the conclusion, and the essay does not fully explain what government should pay for or how access could be balanced with workforce needs. The claim that New Zealand has a 98% highly educated population is not explained or connected convincingly to university funding. Develop each main point with a clear explanation and a relevant, reliable example, and state your position directly in the introduction.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “For instance” and “In conclusion” help signal stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from affordability to literacy, then to an unsupported national statistic, without showing how each point connects. The second paragraph introduces the jobs concern but then shifts to broad statements about future outcomes. Some linking phrases, including “From a broader perspective” and “Nevertheless,” sound formulaic rather than expressing a precise relationship. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it, using references that make the links between ideas explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “inflation,” “literacy rate,” “long-term effects” and “social well-being,” and you use some phrases intended to express evaluation. However, the range is limited by repetition and frequent inaccurate word choice, spelling and collocation. Examples include “highter education,” “experiance from this kind poliecy,” “nomal jobs” and “create the marit system.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow, particularly in the first body paragraph. Choose more precise, natural expressions and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, describe students as benefiting from a policy, and refer to a merit-based system rather than a “marit system.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both longer sentences and some subordinate clauses, such as “although this act has both positive and negative implications,” but complex structures are often not controlled successfully. The opening sentence has an incorrect verb form in “government should subsidized,” while “students who cannot afford the highter education due to the inflation, so they can get the benefit” is an incomplete and poorly joined construction. There are also recurring problems with agreement and verb forms, as in “other believe” and “they will expected high.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are sometimes faulty, including the comma splice in the conclusion. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a complete subject and verb.
