Student answer (Band 5.5)
Education play an important role in every individual's life. some folks believe that Higher authorities should have pay the university fee so that everyone can do study without any cost. I partially agree with the statement. I will discuss my opinion in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, Government should pay the cost of education. To explain it, there are some people who are still lack from study because the fee's of schools or university's are too high, they cannot afford it.For examle, a student belongs to the middle class family cannot pay $10,000.Moreover, sometimes parents do two jobs in order to give their children better education. As a result, they get deprived from family time. There are many students who are intelligent and they belong to middle class family. For example, there is a Einstain who did the research for bulb, he belongs to poor family.
On the other hand, there are several other factors which really need improvements such as hospitals, old age houses. Instead of spending money on education, Governemnt should utilize some money on hospitals. To illustrate it, every single day thousands of people died due to lack of treatment.Moroever, the medicines cost too much.In additons, In this modrn era, some business makes alot of moeny For instance, I saw in some of the shops they charge the folks twice the amount of medicine.
In my opinion, governemnt should spend money equally. There are some courses which are so expensive, it should reduce the fee of that so that everyone can easily afford the education.
To recapitulations, people will be more educated if the cost of study would be less.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear, though qualified, position by saying, “I partially agree,” and you present reasons on both sides: affordability and the need to fund hospitals and other services. These points are relevant to the question, but the response only partly develops the central issue of whether university costs should be paid by government so that education is free. For example, the claim that a middle-class student cannot pay $10,000 is not explained or linked to a specific policy, while the reference to Einstein and the light bulb is unclear and does not convincingly support the argument. Your conclusion that government should spend “equally” also leaves your position imprecise. Explain what costs should be covered and why, then support each main point with a clear example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “To begin with” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in viewpoint, and the reader can generally follow the broad argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first moves from university fees to parents’ work and then Einstein, without clearly connecting these examples. The second shifts from hospitals to medicine prices and shop charges, which weakens its focus on university funding. Some linking expressions, including “To explain it” and “To illustrate it,” are repetitive or do not make the relationship between ideas clear. Group related points together and use explicit references to show how each example supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “university fee,” “middle class family,” “afford,” “treatment,” and “education.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “utilize some money” and “deprived from family time.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “Higher authorities” for government, “lack from study,” and “research for bulb.” Spelling errors such as “Einstain,” “Governemnt,” and “modrn” are noticeable, and informal terms such as “folks” do not suit the essay’s academic tone. Build a more precise vocabulary for public funding and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “so that everyone can do study without any cost” and a result clause beginning “As a result.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “Education play” needs subject–verb agreement, while “Higher authorities should have pay” uses an incorrect verb form. The sentence “there are some people who are still lack from study” has a faulty clause structure, and “a student belongs to the middle class family cannot pay” needs a relative clause or another clear construction. Several sentences also run together without appropriate punctuation. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled complex structures.
