Student answer (Band 5.0)
Educations is important for everyone to grt goals in their life. Some people think that government should pay money to the universities so everyone get free educations. i agree with this statement because some students cannot afford universities fee because its too much.
Firstly, all universities charges alot of money from students. some people cannot pay fee because they belong to poor families. If it is free to get education then everyone will have right to get equal education. They can fullfill their dream goal through the education. for example, some people want to become a doctor but they need alot of money to get edacuation.
Secondly, if people get education they will be become educate. it also boost the economy of that country. when people grt university education they will find food job which also contribute the economy of the country.
Conclusion,i agree with this statement because everyone will get change to gain university education without paying fee.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you agree that government funding should make university education free, and you give relevant reasons about affordability and benefits to the economy. However, the response addresses the task only partially because these points are stated briefly rather than explained and supported. For example, the doctor example illustrates the cost barrier, but it does not explain how free tuition would help or how the government could fund it. The economic benefit is also asserted without a specific explanation or example. The response is 92 words below the required minimum, which leaves little space to develop your argument. Extend each main point with explanation and a relevant example, while maintaining your clear position throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a conclusion repeats your position. The sequence from equal access to economic benefits is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Conclusion” help identify the stages. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and links between ideas are not always fully explained. For instance, the move from university education to finding a “food job” and contributing to the economy needs a clearer explanation of the relationship. Some sentences also run together, as in “education. They,” which interrupts the flow. Use linking phrases to show cause and effect, and develop transitions within paragraphs rather than relying mainly on basic sequencing words.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a limited but relevant set of vocabulary for the topic, including “government,” “universities,” “poor families,” and “economy.” These words make your main ideas understandable. However, the range is narrow and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “Educations,” “grt,” “fullfill,” “edacuation,” and “food job.” Phrases such as “get equal education” and “gain university education” also need more natural wording. Build a topic vocabulary set around access, tuition fees, public funding, and employment, and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain your ideas without repeating “education” and “money” so often.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate your main position using mostly simple sentence patterns, and some sentences are understandable, such as “I agree with this statement because some students cannot afford universities fee.” However, the range of structures is limited, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, plurals, and verb forms affect accuracy. For example, “all universities charges” should use a plural verb, while “everyone get” needs a singular verb form. “They will be become educate” also shows problems with verb construction and sentence structure. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including the lowercase “i” and missing spaces after full stops. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled complex sentences using “because,” “if,” and “which.”
