Student answer (Band 4.5)
Many people think that university should not take fees from the students who wants to study and all expenses of university should be manage by goevrnment. I strongly agree with this point that educations become free for everyone.
One of the main reason is that it increase a knowledge among people. It also helps who wants to study and build a future but beacuse of financial problems they can not afford it. For instance, In recent survey shows that In USA after reducting education fees people study more complete their about a life and also increase educate people percentage by overall 20%.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear position in the opening, saying, “I strongly agree,” and give relevant reasons: free university education could increase knowledge and help people who cannot afford fees. However, the response addresses the task only partially. The second reason is not developed, and the example about the USA is difficult to understand and does not clearly show how reduced fees led to the claimed outcomes. The final paragraph begins, “Additionally, people will,” but does not complete the idea, so the argument has no developed conclusion. The response also falls substantially short of the required minimum length. To strengthen your answer, explain each reason, use a clear and relevant example, and complete the essay with a conclusion that restates your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic overall shape: an introductory statement, a paragraph giving reasons, and an attempt to introduce another point with “Additionally.” This gives the reader some indication of how the ideas are related. However, progression is limited because the second point is unfinished, and there is no conclusion to bring the argument together. The example beginning “For instance” is not clearly connected to the preceding claim, so the relationship between evidence and reason is hard to follow. Develop one idea fully before moving to another, use clear paragraphing for each main point, and add a concluding paragraph. Cohesive phrases should introduce complete, logically connected ideas rather than stand in place of development.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “financial problems,” “afford,” “education fees,” and “percentage,” which helps communicate the general topic. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms make the meaning unclear, as in “build a future,” “reducting education fees,” and “increase educate people percentage.” Spelling errors such as “goevrnment” and “beacuse” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise academic expressions and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, you could describe people as “complete their studies” and refer to an “increase in the proportion of educated people.” These improvements would make your argument easier to understand and more appropriate to the task.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and a longer sentence explaining how financial difficulties affect access to university, showing some effort to connect ideas. However, the range of structures is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to interpret. For example, “the students who wants” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “all expenses of university should be manage” has an incorrect verb form. In “One of the main reason is that it increase,” the noun and verb forms do not agree with the sentence structure. Practise accurate basic patterns first, including plural subjects, articles, and passive forms, then build longer sentences and check that each one is complete.
