IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people believe that children learn better when they are placed in classes with children of similar academic abilities. Others believe that children learn better when they are in classes with children representing a diverse range of academic abilities.

Discuss both these views and give your opinion

Student answer (Band 5.5)

Well, Education plays an vital role in every learner life. Without this it is diffcult for them to live in the society.Certain quarter of the world contemplate that, pupil get information quickly when they are same group of people but other argue that they learn better when they interact with different abiities students. My viewpoint maintain a balance between both for fruitful results which are discussed in the upcoming paragraphs.

To begin with, what are the reasons behind this? The first and foremost viewpoint is that, They always feel confident to do anything infront of others. In other words, when children sitting with same ability students at that time they donot feel hesiay

There are several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'an vital' (a vital), 'diffcult' (difficult), and 'abiities' (abilities). The phrasing is somewhat repetitive and lacks the sophistication expected in an academic essay. To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and pay closer attention to spelling and article usage. Expanding your range of collocations will also help you express your ideas more naturally and effectively.
