Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is a debate over children learn in a better way while having same academic range or diverse range of academic activities. According to my perception, having same activity for all students at a time could be reasonable to develop their skills and to check their academic level as well.
On the one hand, People agree to put all children in a similar activities as it would be helpful to ease their mind. The age period is immature for them where it is very obvious to divert easily whereas children are very curious to imitate others which is a very certain to mimic activities from their surroundings. As if a teacher wants to evaluate scholars's interest then it would be the best way by putting their involvement into simmilar activities in order to develop their intellect, coordination, cooperation, equality and so on.
On the other hand, it is believed that different activities at a time can be helpful in the learning process. By passing the ages, children would become different with having establishment of different abilities, In order to check academics they should be involve in diverse academics according to their interest.
I opine that, during early age time period children cannot specify their interest but they need to be concentrated in academics so it would be helpful in the betterment of their future by giving them equal and same academic opportunities for all the children instead of diversity in actives.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. The essay falls short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which negatively impacts the depth of the discussion. The arguments regarding 'similar' versus 'diverse' abilities are presented, but they lack specific examples or detailed reasoning to fully support the points made. To improve, you should expand on the benefits and drawbacks of each approach with concrete illustrations or real-world scenarios, ensuring the response meets the length requirement to allow for more comprehensive development of your ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a logical progression from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally repetitive. For instance, the transition 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' is used correctly, but the internal flow within paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect sentences more fluidly. Referencing is generally clear, but some sentences feel disconnected due to limited use of cohesive ties.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. You rely on basic terms like 'activities' and 'academics' repeatedly, which limits the sophistication of your writing. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'The age period is immature' and 'By passing the ages'. To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary related to education, such as 'homogeneous grouping', 'heterogeneous classrooms', or 'differentiated instruction'. Expanding your range of synonyms and collocations will help you express your ideas with greater clarity and impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'children learn in a better way while having same academic range' (missing articles and awkward phrasing) and 'scholars's interest' (incorrect possessive). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the overall fluency. Focusing on subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and refining complex sentence structures will help improve your accuracy and range.
