Student answer (Band 6.5)
There is ongoing debate about whether young students learn better when they are studying with children's with the same academic knowledge or they learn better with a mixed degree of knowledge. This essay will discuss both prespective before arguing that different degree is more correct to enhance all the levels.
On the one hand, supporters of the idea that same level is more beneficial, this is because children's will be more confortable and confidence while studying no competion because they are in the similar levels . For instance, academics college represent a real example of having a very smart children's studying together withou problem and have a high degree more than 95% marks.
On the other hand, others belive that a different academic is better to encourage the less knowledgeable students, a position i find more convincing because low level children's if they are together they will struggle in knowing the good answer and they will feel useless and uncomfortable. As a result mixing different degree wil be a suitable solution to create a confortable atmosphere for all the students and this will create an atmosphere of competition and even with sharing the informations and the ideas the low level of students will enhance there abilities and will try to be competitive and even will try to decrease their marks .Teacher's must mixted them in groups and they will do a different activities together and they will learn and courage exch other.
In conclusion, while the idea of similar academic level has some merit, i belive that mixed levels is, more beneficial because of the encouragement that will be created and the atmosphere of entraide and encouragement.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The arguments regarding 'same-level' grouping are underdeveloped, relying on vague examples like 'academics college'. The discussion on mixed-ability classes is more detailed, but the logic is occasionally flawed, such as the claim that students will 'try to decrease their marks' in a competitive environment, which contradicts the intended meaning. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, logical examples and ensure your arguments are fully explained rather than just stated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On the one hand' and 'In conclusion' to signal the progression of your argument. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing and repetitive sentence structures. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and some transitions between ideas feel mechanical. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one to create a smoother, more cohesive argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your main points. However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'different degree' instead of 'mixed-ability' and 'entraide' (a French loanword) instead of 'mutual support'. You also struggle with pluralization (e.g., 'children's' instead of 'children', 'Teacher's' instead of 'Teachers'). The range is somewhat limited, and the misuse of terms occasionally makes the meaning slightly unclear. Expanding your range of academic vocabulary and focusing on accurate word forms will significantly improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Teacher's must mixted'), incorrect pluralization, and awkward phrasing that impacts readability. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of commas. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and plurals, before attempting more complex structures.
