Student answer (Band 6.0)
I strongly agree with that children learn better when they placed in classes with children of similar academic abilities. obviously when student sit with the students who are intellectually capable of their mindset they can enhance their skills more. Children adapt their environment and learn quickly so i believe they should have the facilities so that they grow more.
Obviously when every individual sit in the environment of their kind they can enhance their skills well. for instance a classroom of students which score 50% marks and suddenly a high achiever spend even a day with the student can never cope up with them. so it's matter that students will be provided by the of their own psychology. on the other hand, if children sit in the environment of variety of individual in which the high achievers are included as well average students are also there and many other students of different standards are there, so it obviously students will seek various things from each other.
some students know about arts some are good in science, some have expertise in maths means all have different abilities so that if some student week in maths so other student can guide him/her. every person have an eclectic taste from each other so when each one of them assist each other they can grow together and make a strong team. they can be achieve together.
Additionally i add my personal experience, i'm in 10th standard and with no reason they changed i group with the class how is blow average. it was extremely challenging for to sit with them so requested my coordinator to change my section so i can learn properly and enhance my skills.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that students of similar abilities can enhance their skills, the explanation is repetitive and lacks depth. The counter-argument regarding diverse classrooms is also briefly touched upon but lacks a sophisticated analysis of the benefits. To improve, you should aim to provide more detailed reasoning and clearer examples to support your points, ensuring that the discussion of both views is balanced and fully explored rather than just stated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by awkward phrasing and a lack of cohesive devices. Transitions between ideas are frequently missing or mechanical (e.g., 'obviously', 'for instance', 'additionally'). The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your sentences and paragraphs more fluidly, ensuring that each idea leads naturally into the next.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good', 'skills', and 'things', and there are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'intellectually capable of their mindset' and 'eclectic taste'. There are also some spelling and grammatical errors that affect the clarity of your expression. To improve, try to incorporate more academic vocabulary and collocations, and ensure that your word choices are precise and appropriate for the context of an essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every individual sit'), missing articles, and incorrect preposition usage (e.g., 'provided by the of their own psychology'). These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles. Proofreading your work for these common errors will significantly improve the accuracy and readability of your writing.
