Student answer (Band 6.5)
The question of whether students should be grouped according to their academic strengh or taugh in mixed educational enviornment. Some people believe it is better, if children learns with their level of fellows, however other thinks, having diverse range of educational abilities would teach in better way. This essay will discuss both the views hereinafter.
Taking first view into consideration, teaching the same abilities of children would help children to learn efficiently. Children can learn together without feeling any hesitation of not understanding something, and lessons would be delivered perfectly to all the learners. For example, there are many schools, those are organising special batches for same level of students in which they can teach in appropriate paces.
Nevertheless, if students will study in diverse knowledge of enviorment, they would learn more. To instants, when on student sit together in class with different ability of academic, he or she can be adapt their ability to perform better. For more illustration, many primary schools give their children to make group project, and teacher selects group members randomly, in this way, students get change to enhance their confidence, patients, knowledge and many other aspects. The reason behind they are working with diverse knowledge of students.
In conclusion, although teachers can deliver lectures effectively in class which have same ability of students, but teaching in diverse enviornment have broaded advantages. In my opinion, schools should not discriminate students according to their abilities, instead they should make classrooms with mixed students, therefore all students get chance to adapt more knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The essay addresses both viewpoints and provides a clear opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that mixed-ability classes enhance 'confidence' and 'patience', these points are not fully explored or supported with detailed reasoning. The introduction is slightly underdeveloped, and the prompt's requirement to 'discuss' is met, but the depth of analysis remains at a basic level. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more robust explanation of why these benefits occur, rather than simply stating them. The position is consistent, but the overall task response would benefit from more sophisticated argumentation.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Nevertheless', 'For example', and 'In conclusion' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'To instants' (likely meant 'For instance') and 'For more illustration'. Additionally, some sentences are disjointed, and the flow between ideas could be smoother. Referencing is generally clear, but the progression of ideas within paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect sentences more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'strengh', 'taugh', 'enviornment', and 'patients' (used instead of 'patience'). You rely on basic vocabulary, and some collocations are unnatural, such as 'diverse knowledge of enviorment' or 'same level of fellows'. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling. Expanding your range of synonyms and learning common collocations related to education would significantly improve your lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('children learns', 'other thinks'), incorrect word forms ('diverse knowledge of enviorment'), and awkward phrasing ('there are many schools, those are organising'). While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed accurately. Practicing the use of articles and prepositions will also help reduce the number of minor errors.
