Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. For example, the argument regarding 'same level' learners is vague, mentioning only that it helps teachers without explaining the pedagogical benefits in depth. The second body paragraph is also underdeveloped, listing benefits like 'social life' and 'equality' without providing concrete examples or logical explanations of how these occur in a diverse classroom. The introduction is somewhat disjointed, and the conclusion is brief. To improve, you should expand on your points with specific examples and ensure your position is clearly integrated throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the use of cohesive devices is mechanical or missing. For instance, the transition 'There is no age limit to lean things in life' is irrelevant to the prompt and disrupts the flow. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the use of 'they' without a clear antecedent. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks a clear topic sentence followed by supporting evidence. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') would help the reader follow your argument more effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, which restricts the ability to convey complex ideas. There are frequent spelling errors, such as 'crutical', 'lean' (instead of learn), 'depanding', 'childerns', and 'syllubus'. These errors occasionally make the text difficult to read. The range of vocabulary is basic, relying on simple terms like 'good' or 'help'. To achieve a higher score, you need to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items and collocations, and ensure that your spelling is accurate. Focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to education, such as 'academic performance', 'peer-to-peer learning', and 'curriculum'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('Education play', 'it help'), article usage ('the study research'), and sentence structure (run-on sentences and fragments). Punctuation is also problematic, with spaces missing before periods and commas. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often grammatically incorrect or poorly constructed. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for punctuation and capitalization errors. Reducing the number of basic errors is essential before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
